Going over the lab answers as a class was a good way to keep the students involved. It also gave them a chance to describe why alternative answers would be accepted. Students followed the notes with enthusiasm. Having a copy of the notes with blanks for the students to fill them in was a good idea. It allowed the students to take notes, but also pay attention because they were not too busy writing. The assignment that I had the students do was a Prezi presentation. Having the rubric allowed the students to know how they were going to be graded. I went over the rubric each section at a time and addressed individual questions. I feel as if this was a great assignment. The students get practice citing sources, presenting, researching, and using technology. Having it count as a test grade made the students take this assignment seriously. I felt more interaction from the students during this lesson. I felt more comfortable in front of the students and began to know their names and personalities.
