It is meant to prepare for the guidance and counselling discussion in which the competence demonstration is planned. - The content of the actual competence demonstration is negotiated with the supervising teacher. Describe your tasks at work: - Make a list of the tasks - Describe and categorize what you actually do at different tasks Identify what kind of competences are needed in your tasks: - What kind of knowledge is needed to understand what you do? - What kinds of skills are needed to manage the task? Identify what you have learnt at the in-service training courses: - Make a list of the in-service training courses - What kind of competences (knowledge and skills) you have gained at the courses? Compare the competences gained at your work to the curriculum of the study program: - What study module/modules your present competences are related to? - Do your present knowledge and skills cover all the competences required in the study module? - What kind of competences are you possibly lacking Assess on what level is your competence now in relation to the required competences in your workplace and task?
