We will spend the first three webinars on the “Big Three” topics: financial reporting (ratios and financial
analysis), budgeting and forecasting (variance analysis, cost-volume-profit and ROI), and revenue cycle (process
fundamentals and Medicare payment systems). In the fourth webinar we will cover the remaining three topics:
internal control and compliance, managed care contracting, and disbursements.
The webinars are intended for all members of the participating HFMA chapters interested in deepening,
broadening and updating their knowledge of healthcare financial management.
The webinars have two sets of objectives:

Inspire you to master the field of healthcare financial management.


Give you a practical framework for studying for the Certified Healthcare Finance Professional (CHFP)
exam.
Make you comfortable with some of the more challenging quantitative and cognitive problems tested.
Second set of objectives (“when you’ve completed this class, you will be able to…”):

