The student is responsible for scheduling a test proctoring appointment time that will allow the student ample time to finish the exam during regular business hours that will not interfere with any school related responsibilities.

Students are only allowed to bring instructor approved materials into the testing area.

Students are not permitted to leave the testing area once they have begun their exam. Exceptions to this policy will be determined on an individual basis as needed.

The test proctoring areas are closely monitored by camera and/or exam proctor in order to ensure the integrity of the exam and to protect the student from unsubstantiated accusations. If an exam’s integrity is compromised, the instructor will be notified immediately.

Instructor Responsibilities

Instructor is responsible for completing the Counseling and Career Services Test Proctoring Form for each and every exam a student has proctored in the office and for returning the completed Test Proctoring

Form with the student’s exam. If the instructor has not completed the Test Proctoring Form , Counseling and Career Services staff will have the instructor complete the form upon delivering the student’s exam to the office.

Instructor is responsible for delivering the exam by hand, email and/or fax at least one day prior to the requested exam date.

Instructor is to understand that students are only allowed to bring instructor approved materials into the testing area.

The instructor is responsible for picking up the completed proctored exam either in-person or via fax or email. Arrangements may be made upon exam delivery for other staff/faculty to pick up a completed exam.
