JOB TITLE: Assistant 3D Buyer REPORTS TO: 3D Buyer FUNCTION: Buying DEPARTMENT: Merchandise JOB PURPOSE: In line with the Company’s visions and values to assist in the development, management, delivery and promotion of 3D product which is consistent with the Buying strategy, the NG brand, and the company’s business plan. Key Accountabilities Key Activities / Decision Areas 1. Product Development and Sourcing, Stock Control and Replenishment Working closely with the buyer in order to help develop and deliver core and seasonal ranges Attending trade shows as required Setting up product codes on Navision and adding to the replenishment plan Providing accurate provenance for each product as required Dealing with quality control issues Creating mood/reference boards under the direction of the buyer Contacting suppliers for information and prices Sample management Working closely with Picture Research to ensure that all permissions and/or contracts for the development of each product are fully met and negotiated. Assist in liaising with Finance department to ensure purchasing and invoicing systems operate as efficiently as possible Assisting Merchandising colleagues as required 2. Reporting and Financial Prepare stock and sales reports for the buyer as and when required Ensure that best possible price and terms are negotiated with suppliers 3. Training Contribute to product training for NG and NGC staff on 3D product 4. Internal and Gallery Liaison Ensure that NGC and NG approvals procedures are strictly adhered to Represent NGC at gallery meetings as required Demonstrate best practice communication and collaboration with other NG and NGC departments Liaise with Marketing and Digital departments to ensure the timely photography and promotion of new 3D products through press and online. 5. External Liaison Establish and maintain thriving working relationships with new and existing suppliers Ensure warehouse and delivery guidelines are clearly communicated to suppliers. 6. Other Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Buyer.
