There will be a $150.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit, which will be applied to the total cost of your Doberman puppy. All moneys/payments paid toward the total price of the Doberman and options are also NON REFUNDABLE. Doberman will be paid in full by the age of 6 weeks. This Doberman is guaranteed by Pets with Potential as follows: 1. The Doberman is a purebred Doberman pinscher. 2. The litter is registered with the American Kennel Club as indicated above; an individual registration application form will be furnished to the buyer after the breeder has received payment in full. Puppy must be paid in full at or before 6 weeks of age. 3. To the best of the Breeders knowledge, this Doberman is free of communicable diseases and birth defects. At time of sale the Doberman was in excellent health. The Doberman has received age appropriate vaccinations and de-worming. Breeder will provide Buyer with a copy of the puppy’s medical record detailing medical treatment Doberman has received under Breeder’s care and future recommended medical needs that the Breeder feels is essential to Puppy's wellbeing and for continued good health; Remaining puppy shots, and heart worm medication. 4. Breeder will be available for the life of this Doberman to answer any questions or provide help in any way. 5. If Doberman is not produced from this litter, deposit will be transferred to next available litters of buyer’s choice. THEREFORE, Buyer must take the Doberman to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours after taking possession, for a post purchase general health examination, by their own veterinarian and at buyer’s expense. If during this health exam the Doberman is found to have a genetic health problem or serious birth defect, the Buyer must return the Doberman, with the Veterinarian’s written certification, as to the health problem, so that my vet can provide a second opinion. Upon return of the Doberman, along with the Vet certification, the buyer will receive another Doberman, of equal value, if available, or from the next available litter. Return of the Doberman must be done within the 48 hours of Buyer’s Vet determination. If the pup is not seen by your vet in this time the health guarantee of the pups will be void. FURTHER-MORE, The buyer MUST have a Necropsy done on the Doberman if the Doberman dies of an unknown cause within the first year at buyers expense. Results that show the cause and diagnosis of death were described as a birth defect or a genetic defect, Doberman will be replaced. The Buyer will be put back on the waiting list to provide a replacement. Doberman must stay on Nuvet ordered with the code provided to be eligible for a replacement puppy. Breeder will not provide a refund or an exchange for any Doberman which was injured or became sick after leaving the Breeders’ premises. Buyers are admonished to limit the exposure of their new puppy to other dogs or outside high traffic dog areas until the puppy is at least 16 weeks old and has been given its last or third (3rd) puppy vaccination and received a Bordetello vaccination. FURTHER-MORE, The Buyer agrees that this Doberman is NOT to be LEFT IN A BACKYARD OR KENNEL unattended. Buyer agrees to provide a fenced back yard for the Doberman or invisible fencing and not leave the Doberman outside unsupervised. This Doberman is being sold with the agreement that it is being placed with carefully screened parties and the Buyer PROMISED the Doberman would become a member of the family, residing indoors as a member of their family. The Buyer agrees to maintain preventative health care of the Doberman including, but not limited to: recommended inoculations, treatment as needed for internal, as well as external parasites, and monthly heart worm preventative medication. ALSO, The Breeder reserves the right to remove and take possession of said Doberman from the Buyers’ premises due to demonstrated neglect or abuse by the Buyer when verified by an officer of Animal Control or the Humane Society for the County of residence FURTHER, Breeder is selling this Doberman specifically for home pet/companion purposes; this Doberman has been bred to the breed standard physically and for a healthy, sound, loving temperament, which should also be naturally protective of his family and home. This Doberman has the intelligence and aptitude to compete and win in Obedience and Agility trials. FURTHER, Breeder strongly recommends that Buyer enter and complete at least two, obedience classes with the Doberman and provide proper socialization opportunities for the Doberman at every opportunity while it is a Puppy. FURTHER, this is a non-transferable contract. Buyer agrees to Breeder demand that Buyer MUST notify the Breeder immediately should the Buyer, for any reason, not be able to keep said Doberman at any point in the Doberman’s life. In such instance, the Doberman will be returned to Breeder to be retained, placed or resold at the Breeders’ discretion. If the Doberman is able to be resold, the re-sale price MINUS breeder’s expenses will be returned to the Buyer. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES may the Buyer destroy said Doberman before discussing this decision with the Breeder, EXCEPT FOR URGENT HEATH REASONS (documented by a vet) which would impact the Doberman’s quality of life? If the Buyer violates this term of the contract Buyer will owe the Breeder the original purchase price of the Doberman. ALSO, Breach of contract will result in a penalty fee owed to the Breeder of $2000 from the Buyer. FURTHER, Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Warren County, Ohio shall be the exclusive jurisdiction in which any and all disputes arising. The buyer is responsible for any and all court fees, and reasonable attorney fees associated with such dispute regardless of prevailing party. SPECIAL CONDITIONS PURSUANT TO SALE; First Time Doberman Buyers/Owners agree to enter The Doberman Puppy in a minimum of Two (2) consecutive Obedience Courses and provide copies of course completion certificates to the Breeder. Proof of the spay/neuter must be received by SAVANNAH LANCASTER within fourteen (14) days after the surgery. In the event that the dog’s health does not allow this agreement to be honored, SAVANNAH must be provided with a statement from your veterinarian that this dog is not yet in physical or emotional condition for surgery. Based upon the veterinarian’s evaluation of this dog BUYER will contact the veterinarian and establish the earliest date that the procedure can be performed. BUYER will notify the BREEDER of this amendment in writing, at which time all other conditions of this agreement will apply and be enforced. This is the responsibility of the BUYER, not the veterinarian, to ensure that SAVANNAH has received verification that the surgery has been performed. Failure to comply with this agreement by the date below, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, will be considered a breach of the Contract, and BUYER will transport this dog back to SAVANNAH and will not be entitled to a refund. The ears after being cropped are NOT guaranteed to stand. If they are to become infected after they leave breeders care the breeder is NOT held responsible. The Doberman was of sound health while in Breeders care and to the best of the Breeders knowledge there is no infection at the time of the puppy leaving. There is NO REFUNDS for ear cropping or After Care. This also includes if the Doberman is ever returned to the breeder at any time of its life as outlined in the original contract. Buyer is responsible for care of the ears once they leave the Breeders property. This includes but not limited to, care of incisions and stitches, removal of stitches, posting and taping, and any other care associated with the ear surgery.
