You are responsible for regularly checking either the email address you provided to us on your admission application or the one assigned to you by Cal Poly Pomona. If you cannot Check and Maintain your Admission Status It is your responsibility to monitor the progress of your application and documents throughout the admissions process. The easiest way to do so is to visit our student information portal which we call BroncoDirect at broncodirect.cms.csupomona.edu. 1. Visit the account activation website at: www.csupomona.edu/claimaccount 2. Enter your Bronco Number 3. Enter your Claim Code: Your birth date in the (YYMMDD) format. For example, a student born on April 30, 1985 would enter 850430 as their claim code and a student born on December 7, 1991 would enter 911207 as their claim code. Once you login to BroncoDirect, be sure to view and complete your To-Do-List to keep your application moving forward. Along with monitoring your application, Bronco Direct allows you to view information regarding outstanding items, application status, regularly check your e-mail at least twice a week, for any additional information. Your Admission Decision You will be notified of your admissions decision as soon as your application, required transcripts, test scores, the application fee or approved fee waiver form and other documents have been received and reviewed. Since you are admitted prior to the receipt of all final transcripts, you must satisfactorily complete all admission requirements, submit all required documents by the document deadlines and meet all testing deadlines to maintain your admission status and enroll at Cal Poly Pomona. Register by February January 27, 2012 to take the English Placement Test (EPT) and/or the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) for the February 11,2012 test date, unless you are exempt. will become available beginning January 2012. Assignment are based on space availability and early submission of your contract is highly recommended. Pay the Initioal Housing Fee: to complete the contracting requirement, the initial payment of $300.00 must be paid on your BroncoDirect account. Fees will be posted in January 2012. Take your ACT or SAT I tests (if you have not already done so) and request that your test scores be sent directly to Cal Poly Pomona. All freshmen applicants are required to take the SAT I or ACT no later than December 2011. January 2012 Send in your test scores. If you have not requested that your test To Request an Exemption from the Housing Requirement: Request may be made beginning January 2012 and supportind documentation will be required. April 2012 Register for placement tests. If you have not already taken the EPT and/or ELM and you are not exempt, register for the last available test by April 20, 2021 for the May 5, 2012 test date. Sign up for the high school courses you need. You must successfully complete all applicable admission requirements to enroll for Fall 2012. All CSU subject matter requirements (the 15 unit A-G approved course taking pattern) must be completed, in progress, or planned to be completed with a “C” or better prior to high school graduation, and may not be completed during the summer term immediately preceding fall enrollment. If you have not already taken the EPT and/or ELM and you are not exempt, register by March 2, 2012 for the March 17, 2012 test date, or register by April 20, 2012 for the May 5, 2012 test date. Student Intent to Register & Deposit. Once you have been admitted, your To-Do-List in Bronco Direct, please submit the ECD online by May 1 or STRONGLY Deposit online through BroncoDirect. If you are unable to submit your payment online, you may mail a check or money order to Cal Poly Pomona, Admissions & Outreach, 3801 West Temple Avenue, Pomona, CA 91768. This deposit is non-refundable, and will be applied towards your required Register to attend orientation. Once you’ve paid your ECD, register for orientation. All entering freshmen are required to attend orientation during the summer to be eligible to register for fall courses.
