To Get Started:
 Login to Blackboard
 Select your course from Blackboard 9.1 Courses Module

Select Content; Wimba Classroom Link

Select Enter Room

Allow Applet, this will open Wimba Classroom

STaR: 9.1 Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Select a PowerPoint from the Content Folder.
Select the Default Content Folder
Click the Action Arrow
Select PowerPoint Folder
Click GO and the file loads
Step 2: Select Preview Slides
Each slide
loads into the
Content
Frame.
Use your
mouse to click
on each slide.
Option: Click,
Preview slides to
see them before
they load.

Step 3: Archiving
Click to begin Archive or
Click, “YES” in the Archive
Reminder
“TALK”
Prompt says, “Arching Started.”
Select each slide and add audio by pressing the “TALK” button. Wimba will record your
session, archive, and save the presentation as a MP4.
Step 4: Stop and Save Archive
Click, Recorder button to STOP
session, OK.
“Archiving has been stopped.”
“The archive is now complete.”

Click to open links in Wimba.
Exit Wimba
Step 6: Enter Archive
Enter Archive
Step 7: Start Archive
Allow Applet
Select Archive Navigation
Click Archive Start to play
