The project aims to: identify cultural values protect cultural values assist with developing relationships with the Aboriginal community and land managers assist landowners and managers to meet their legislative obligations assist with the sharing of cultural knowledge raise the awareness of Aboriginal cultural heritage. You will be provided with a report identifying any cultural values found. This report will include recommendations about any preservation or protection works and any ongoing management requirements. Aboriginal sites in NSW are protected and are legally required to be registered with the Department of Environment and Heritage and will be placed on the Aboriginal Heritage Information Management Systems (AHIMS) Any incomplete applications will be returned and could result in not being eligible for funding.
