For Immediate Release Sept. 16, 2013 HELP OF SOUTHERN NEVADA, THE HOME DEPOT FOUNDATION AND GOOD360 BRING FRAMING HOPE WAREHOUSE TO NEVADA New local warehouse will provide building supplies to nonprofits serving people in need Las Vegas – The Home Depot Foundation and Good360 are teaming up with HELP of Southern Nevada to open Nevada’s only Framing Hope Warehouse. The Framing Hope Product Donation Program—a collaboration between The Home Depot Foundation and Good360—provides home and building supplies to organizations that assist military veterans in addition to organizations that assist the greater population of people in need. Framing Hope Warehouses help to aggregate donations from many stores, and then redistribute them to qualified local groups. As the official Framing Hope Warehouse in Las Vegas, HELP of Southern Nevada will pick up donations throughout the year from 12 Southern Nevada Home Depot stores, which will then be made available directly to local nonprofits and schools. Local 501(c)(3) organizations and churches that would like membership information can apply by emailing framinghope@helpsonv.org. “Good360 is proud to partner with HELP of Southern Nevada, The Home Depot and The Hope Depot Foundation in opening our seventh Framing Hope Warehouse,” said Good360 President and Chief Executive Officer Cindy Hallberlin. “Products donated through the program have made a significant impact across the country and our community-based partnerships are critical to that success. Through the Las Vegas Warehouse, HELP of Southern Nevada will be able to provide much needed resources to area nonprofits for the benefit of veterans, their families and others in need.” A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. at HELP of Southern Nevada (1600 East Flamingo Road) during which the nonprofit will officially open the Framing Hope Warehouse. In anticipation of the opening, Toyota is donating a forklift for use in the warehouse. “We are thrilled that The Home Depot Foundation and Good360 have chosen HELP of Southern Nevada as Framing Hope Warehouse’s only Nevada location,” remarked HELP of Southern Nevada President and Chief Executive Officer Terrie D’Antonio. “It’s an excellent opportunity that will benefit not only our clients but also other local organizations and the members of the community they serve.” "Framing Hope is a key part of The Home Depot Foundation’s commitment to ensure every veteran has a safe place to call home. The Las Vegas Framing Hope Warehouse provides product that helps nonprofits repair and refurbish homes and facilities for low-income families and individuals, with a focus on organizations that work with veterans,” said Director and Chief Operating Officer of The Home Depot Foundation Fred Wacker. “Donating products through Framing Hope Warehouses helps charitable organizations stretch their budgets, supports our efforts and protects the environment.” Tweet It: .@helpsonv (1600 E.
