Welcome to Charisma Pony Stud,
We are a boutique stud aiming to produce show quality Welsh and Part Welsh Ponies
with temperaments suitable for children. Our stud is founded primarily on eastern
states bloodlines with a major focus on temperament and movement. Many of our
ponies are just starting to prove themselves and we couldn’t be more pleased with
them. They have proven that they can excel in both the show ring and Pony club
circles.
A number of our ponies have hit the show ring this year and have enjoyed many
successes. Charisma Royal Symphony is proving to be a wonderful children’s pony
and is excelling at multiple disciplines. Some of her achievements include: Runner
up Intermediate Show Hunter Pony and Smartest on Parade Large Show Hunter Pony
at SHC HOTY, Reserve Champion Ridden Part Welsh Exhibit at the 2014 Perth
Royal Show and Winner of the WASJA Patrons Cup Showjumping (60cm). All in her
first year of competition under saddle with a young rider.
Charisma Royal Emblem was Runner up Welsh Newcomer 12.2-14hh at the WA
Welsh Newcomers. He is also proving himself to be a wonderful child’s pony, even at
a young age. Charisma Gentleman Jack has hit the show ring this year with a teenage
rider and has a number of broad sashes to his name.
These are a select few of the results from some of our ponies from limited outings.
Watch this space; we are sure there will be many more success stories as these ponies
continue their careers under saddle.

Imperial Tennessee
Sire: Imperial Juene
Dam: Downland Titlarch (Imp)
We are very proud to stand Imperial Tennessee at stud. He has produced many lovely
ponies when standing at stud in Victoria, before coming to join us a few years ago.
Tennessee has it all: undeniably Welsh character, a beautiful front, plenty of bone,
effortless ground covering movement and, above all else a quiet, trainable
temperament. He passes on these attributes to his progeny, making his foals the
ultimate package for both the in-hand ring and as ridden exhibits.
Tennessee is a proven sire; he was the winner of the Victorian Sires rating in 20112012 show season and was 3rd for the 2012-2013 season. Tennessee and was also the
sire of Karanga Paris; winner of the Supreme Champion Welsh Exhibit of the Welsh
National Show 2013. His progeny speak for themselves.
We are excited for times to come, when our own progeny from Tennessee hit the
show ring.

13.1hh. A sad sale of a truly lovely pony. Rupert has it all, from a sensible
temperament to excellent trainability and scope. He is a competitive pony and has
the ability to excel in any discipline. As well as this he has the sweetest and most
endearing personality you could ask for. He has been competing at D grade
eventing and 65 cm show jumping rounds. He has the scope and the talent to go
much higher with a smaller rider, and would make a top pony jumper in the
future. Rupert is also competing at Novice level dressage and is beginning to
school Elementary movements. He would be suited as a second pony for a rider
looking to be competitive in a number of disciplines. Rupert turns heads wherever
he goes; everyone just loves his character and big heart. Easy to do everything
with, he is a pleasure to have around. To the best of homes only.
2. Charisma Lucinda

13.1 hh. A sweet mare that will make a great kids performance pony. Lucinda has
been broken to saddle for around 9 months and has been a pleasure to ride.
Lucinda is by a stallion who is renowned for producing performance ponies, he
has wonderful paces and performs beautifully under saddle himself. We have
broken her dam to saddle and she was always quiet to ride and easy to handle.
Lucinda was bred with this in mind and has the ability to excel as a performance
pony.
3. Charisma Cinderella
5 yo Bay Welsh B Mare
Sire - Kirreway Quinton (dec)
Dam - Bamborough Davinia
12.1 hh. Cinderella will make a top show pony or allrounder in the future. She has
the looks and movement to make it in the show ring as well as the scope and talent
to be a great jumping pony. She has recently competed in her first ODE where she
was awarded 4th place. Her dam has won broad sashes in four states across
Australia and was also a wonderful child’s pony. Her sire is well renowned and
has produced many successful saddle ponies.
4. Charisma Christmas Pudding
4yo Brown Welsh C Mare

Dam: Keirfield Rikki-Mae (dec)
Aprox 12.2hh. Pudding is an absolute little gem, she has an unflappable
temperament and is about as bombproof as you can get for such a young pony.
She has been under saddle for about a year and is going like a dream. Pudding is a
lovely big bodied mare with beautiful ground covering movement. She has the
talent to excel in any disciple and has recently started jumping, she shows great
talent and in this field and will excel as a pony hunter. Nothing phases her and she
is easy to do everything with. Pudding is an absolute superstar, we can’t speak
highly enough of her. She is ready to take a child to the top.
5. Charisma Madeline
3 yo Grey Welsh B Filly

Dam – Bamborough Jennalee
Mature 13 hh. An eye catching, elegant filly with correct conformation. She has
the ability to excel in the show ring and has the presence to go to the top. She
would also make a fantastic broodmare in the future for a discerning buyer.
6. Charisma Lillian
3 yo Black Welsh B Filly
Sire – Owendale Jordan
Dam – Charisma Windsong
Mature 12.2 hh. A sweet filly that will make a great kids pony as well as a super
performance pony. Full sister to C. Lucinda. We have repeated this breeding as
we are impressed by the attributes of both sire and dam in their suitability for the
performance ring. With Pony Dressage in mind, we feel these sisters present an
opportunity for children to compete in this area with the ease of owning a Welsh
pony.
7. Charisma Edward
3 yo Liver Chestnut Welsh B Gelding
Sire – Imperial Tennessee
Dam – Bamborough Jennelle
Mature 13.1 hh. Edward is stamped with his sire’s good looks and is a beautiful
liver chestnut with a flaxen mane that is now developing silver streaks. Edward
has the movement and conformation to perform as a children’s pony. His halfsister (C. Showtime) won her class at the Perth Royal Show and has been sold to
South Australia to continue her ridden career. Edward is set to follow in her
footsteps.
8. Charisma Benjamin
3 yo Grey Welsh B Gelding

Dam – Bamborough Davinia
Mature 13.1 hh. Benjamin is a friendly little chap looking for a show home. We
feel he has a bright future ahead of him, with show ring presence and movement
to burn. His dam was a successful show pony, winning broad sashes in 4 states
across Australia as well as a wonderful child’s pony. Benjamin has the breeding to
compete in many disciplines, both in hand and under saddle, as his relatives in the
Eastern states have. Benjamin is ready to be started under saddle.
9. Bamborough Lady Caroline
3yo Bay Welsh B Filly

Dam: Bamborough Lady Rosetta
Mature aprox. 12.2hh Bred in the purple this sweet filly has been lightly shown
with success; Reserve Champion Filly Foal at Victorian Foal show as a youngster
and winner of her Filly class at the WA Welsh Youngstock show 2014. Her sire,
now deceased has produced countless top quality ponies and was the winner of the
NSW sires rating for the past 3 consecutive years, it is no wonder these lines are
highly sought after. Caroline has been greenly broken to saddle. She would be an
asset to any breeding program, or will make a lovely ridden prospect. Caroline is
only for sale as we are downsizing our broodmare band, we just can’t keep them
all
10. Charisma Sam Jones
2yo Chestnut Welsh B Gelding

Dam – Mistwood Just Divine
Mature 12.1 hh. A gorgeous little man who is wonderful to work with. He has a
quiet temperament as well as being full of personality. His sire is also a lovely
quiet stallion who is producing some beautiful stock. His dam was broken to
saddle by the stud and was always easy to deal with and willing to give her best.
Sam will make a quiet children’s pony.
11. Charisma Choir Boy
1yo Palomino Welsh B Colt
Sire – Laithehill Mozart (IMP UK)
Dam – Judaroo Playtime
To mature to 13 hh. Choir Boy is a quality Welsh B colt with excellent movement
and show ring presence. He has a friendly and outgoing personality. He is by
Laithehill Mozart who was imported from the UK. He is out of Judaroo Playtime
who has been a wonderful child's pony before becoming a broodmare. DNA
tested to ensure he will not grey out.
12. Charisma Beethoven
1yo Buckskin Welsh B Colt
Sire – Laithehill Mozart (IMP UK)
Dam – Charisma Windsong
To mature to 13.1hh. Beethoven is a friendly pony with a calm disposition and
will make a wonderful child’s mount in the future. With plenty of substance and
flashy markings he is sure to turn heads. He has the ability to compete in any
discipline. His sire is Laithehill Mozart, who was recently imported from the UK.
DNA tested as Buckskin, he will not grey out.
13. Bamborough Jennalee
10yo Grey Welsh B Mare

13.1 hh. This lovely mare has produced a number of foals for us and is for sale as
we are downsizing our broodmare band. Her sire, now deceased has produced
countless top quality ponies. He was the winner of the NSW sires rating for the
past 3 consecutive years and is among the rankings in many other states, it is no
wonder these lines are highly sought after. She was greenly broken to saddle prior
to breeding, and would suit either a ridden career to would be an asset to any stud.
14. Bamborough Pandora
12yo Grey Welsh B Mare

Dam: Owendale Paradise
13.2hh. Pandora is a lovely big bodied, up to height mare, with correct
conformation and ground covering movement, her type is hard to come by. She
also has a wonderful temperament that she passes on to her progeny. For sale as
we plan on retaining her two fillies; multi supreme winning Bamborough Picture
Perfect and C. Silver Edition. Pandora would be an asset to any breeding program.
