Welcome to Charisma Pony Stud.
We are a boutique stud aiming to produce show quality Welsh and Part Welsh
Ponies with temperaments suitable for children.
Many of our ponies are just
starting to prove themselves and we couldn’t be more pleased with them.
Charisma Royal Emblem has had a fantastic year, with countless championships to
his name at big shows including EA NSW Hack Championships, EWA HOTY,
and Serpentine Hack Day to name a few. He also finished at the top of WA
Interschools Primary Show Hunter leaderboard. Also at WA interschool’s,
Charisma James Bond was part of the Champion Primary School Team and was
High Point Welsh Pony in the Primary Division.
Charisma Gentlemen Jack has been doing well this year; he was Champion
Intermediate Show Hunter Galloway at EWA HOTY and was Supreme Part Welsh
Exhibit at the Mountain and Moorland Performance Day. Charisma Ponies had a
fantastic day at the performance day, taking home both Champion and Reserve
Champion Welsh/ Part Welsh Working Hunter, with Charisma Repertoire having
the highest jumping score of the day
Our first crop of young stock from our lovely stallion Imperial Tennessee have
been started under saddle. We have been very impressed with their temperament
and trainability. Tennessee stamps all his progeny with his effortless ground
covering movement and gorgeous head. Springwater Eeli who is also by Tennessee
was Supreme Ridden Exhibit at his very first show!
We are very proud of the results of our ponies to date, but watch this space as are
ponies mature and continue their careers we are sure there will be many more
success stories.

7yo Grey Welsh B Gelding
13.1hh. A sad sale of a truly lovely pony. Rupert has it all, from a sensible
temperament to excellent trainability and scope. He is a competitive pony
and has the ability to excel in any discipline. As well as this he has the
sweetest and most endearing personality you could ask for. He has been
competing at D grade eventing and 65 cm show jumping rounds. He has
the scope and the talent to go much higher with a smaller rider, and would
make a top pony jumper. He was Reserve Champion Working Hunter at
2015 Mountain and Moorland Performance Show and had the highest
jumping score of the day. Rupert is also competing at Novice level
dressage and is beginning to school Elementary movements. He would be
suited as a second pony for a rider looking to be competitive in a number
of disciplines. Rupert turns heads wherever he goes; everyone just loves
his character and big heart. Easy to do everything with, he is a pleasure to
have around. To the best of homes only.

Charisma Christmas Pudding

5yo Brown Welsh C Mare
Dam: Keirfield Rikki-Mae
Aprox 12.1hh. Pudding is an absolute little gem, she has an unflappable
temperament and has the talent to excel in any discipline. Pudding is a
lovely mare with lots of bone and ground beautiful covering movement.
Her half-brother is Charisma Royal Emblem who has really made his
mark on the official show hunter ring this year winning multiple
championships both here in WA and in the eastern states. Pudding is quiet
and easy to have around just like her half brother, and will also make her a
fantastic child’s pony. She has recently started jumping and shows great
talent and in this field. She has attended pony club and a number of small
shows and had been a gem. She is ready for a confident young rider.

6 yo Bay Welsh B Mare
12.1 hh. Cinderella will make a top show pony or allrounder in the future.
She has the looks and movement to make it in the show ring as well as the
scope and talent to be a great jumping pony. She has had a number
outings to pony club and local shows, sadly our lack of a small rider
means we cannot reach her full potential in the show ring. Her dam has
won broad sashes in four states and was also a wonderful child’s pony.

3yo Chestnut Welsh B Gelding
Mature 12 hh. A gorgeous little man who is wonderful to work with, he
takes everything in his stride. Sam has been lightly broken and has been
very easy to deal with since day one. Sam is still green but an
uncomplicated ride; he will make a wonderful child’s pony in the future.
With plenty of bone, ground covering stride and flashy markings Sam will
make his mark on the show hunter ring.

Dam: Bamborough Lady Rosetta
Aprox 12.3hh. Bred in the purple this sweet filly has been lightly shown
with success; Reserve Champion Filly Foal at Victorian Foal show as a
youngster and winner of her Filly class at the WA Welsh Youngstock
Show 2014. Her sire needs no introduction, he has produced countless top
quality ponies, and these lines are highly sought after. Caroline has been
greenly broken to saddle and is eligible all newcomers. She would be an
asset to any breeding program, or will make a lovely ridden prospect.

4 yo Grey Welsh B Gelding
Aprox 13.1hh. Benjamin is a talented young pony looking for a
performance home. We feel he has a bright future ahead of him, with
show ring presence and movement to burn. Benjamin has been lightly
show and was Champion 3yr old at the Bibs and Booties Show (held in
conjunction with the WA Youngstock Show). His dam was a successful
show pony, winning broad sashes in 4 states across Australia as well as a
wonderful child’s pony. Benjamin has been started under saddle and is
greenly broken. With his movement and trainability we feel he has the
ability to be a top performance pony, especially in the pony dressage
arena.

Aprox 13 hh. An eye catching, elegant filly with correct conformation.
She has the ability to excel in the show ring and has the presence to go to
the top. She would also make a fantastic broodmare in the future. Her
pedigree boasts many top Welsh ponies; including Eyarth Tigra and
Downland Warrior.

2yo Palomino Welsh B Gelding
To mature to 13 hh. Choir Boy is a quality Welsh B gelding with
excellent movement and show ring presence. He has a friendly and
outgoing personality. He is by Laithehill Mozart who was imported from
the UK. He is out of Judaroo Playtime who has been a wonderful child's
pony before she became a broodmare. Shown as a foal he won his colt
class, correct and flashy, this boy will impress.

2yo Chestnut Part Welsh Filly
To mature aprox 15hh. A true performance mare, this filly is by imported
German Riding Pony Trussadi D who was hand picked for his exquisite
movement and temperament to establish a strong German Riding Pony
foundation in Perth. She has been bred with performance in mind and will
excel in any discipline.

1yo Grey Part Welsh Filly
Mature aprox 13.2hh. This filly is truly talented, she is very athletic and
has huge expressive movement. She has the potential to excel in any
performance circle, particularly pony dressage. Her dam was a pony club
superstar, winning Champion Pony of the year with her young rider.
Louisiana will mature to a good size and will easily be able to carry a
small adult.

1yo Grey Welsh B Colt
Mature aprox 12.3hh. A lovely boy with huge, expressive movement. His
dam was selected for her quiet and easy going temperament and she
passes this on to her foals. Will make a great children’s pony in the future.
12. Bamborough Jennalee

10yo Grey Welsh B Mare
13.1 hh. This lovely mare has produced a number of foals for us and is for
sale as we are downsizing our broodmare band. Her sire, now deceased
has produced countless top quality ponies. He won the NSW sires rating
many times and is highly rated in many other states too. It is no wonder
these lines are highly sought after. She was greenly broken to saddle prior
to breeding, and would suit either a ridden career to would be an asset to
any stud.
