Senior Escapade is a maximum fun, safe, drug and alcohol-free,
chaperoned, all night party after graduation on 6/12/15
and…It’s a Warrior tradition! Don’t miss out!
Parents and guardians of the Class of 2015: Your student is now a SENIOR!!!! It’s time to start planning for this
exciting time in their lives. While students plan and fundraise for the Senior Prom, it is parents and guardians who plan
and fund the Senior Escapade, the traditional GRADUATION PARTY of Edmonds Woodway. Historically about
170 seniors attend this event. It is planned and chaperoned by parents along with a company called Grad Nights, which
has been conducting special events in the Puget Sound Region for over 30 years. EWHS has used Grad Nights for this
party for over 10 years!

The party begins right after the graduation reception at EWHS.



The venues and entertainment offer a variety of activities – something to appeal and involve everyone.

Escapade Tickets are $160 (or a $100 deposit) from now until October 31, 2014. After that date, the ticket
price will increase to $175.
The first venue is in the Little Theater at EWHS where first-rate entertainment is brought in.
The students then board chartered buses and are whisked away for a night of non-stop fun!
Food, music and entertainment at two other Seattle-area PRIVATE venues are included. This is a private party
for our students only! Venues are top area restaurants and activity locations.
Students arrive back at school the following morning at 5:30 am for pick-up.
The specific destinations of Escapade are undisclosed for safety, security, and to maintain the element of
surprise for our seniors. This amazing night will be remembered for the rest of their lives!

Tickets can be purchased NOW by sending in your payment (or deposit) with the enclosed form, or you can purchase
tickets from outside the Great Hall during lunch times on most Fridays beginning October 10th. Checks should be made
payable to “EWHS Escapade Class of 2015.” Frequently asked questions are on the back side of this form.

1. Why should I buy a ticket now? Events this special require lots of planning! Grad Nights, the company used to host the
Escapade senior party, requires a specific payment schedule over the next year through May 2015. We already made our first
substantial deposit payment this past April. Tickets purchased now ensure your student a spot and help us make our payments.
2. What are some of the fundraising opportunities? Some students and parents already participated in our largest
fundraiser – as a Waste Warrior at the Taste of Edmonds. Other fundraising opportunities include a holiday plant and wreath sale, a
recycling event and a casino or comedy night. Come have fun - we need you to join the team that will make these events a great
success! Please contact your Co-Chairs to get involved.
3. What about seniors who want to attend Escapade, but can’t afford it? Full or partial scholarships are
available to any student who needs financial support to attend. This is another reason why fundraising is so important. If you know of a
student who wants to participate but cannot do so for financial reasons, PLEASE contact the Escapade Committee Co-Chairs so we
can help that student be part of the celebration (Co-Chair contact info at bottom of page). Scholarships will be provided after we have
reached our party attendance minimum of 150 students. Scholarships will be coordinated through the EWHS counseling office.
