 not focusing too much on massive events, as there is
not that much time for that
 last year many events did not happen
 'Can of Worms' - was attempted last year, Matt C.
would host it, but numbers were not large enough
 Promoting Organ Donation in individual halls - for local
students only
 Connect students in the halls to the services on campus
- eg. little posters about how to contact others, how to
create a happier environment
 Biggest impact made through individual hall
promotions by individual RA's
 Evening suppers would be a good way to incorporate
promotion into individual halls
 Having specific suppers on international holidays with
the holiday-specific food (eg Mooncake)

'Potluck Dinner' - each house brings a plate with food
from another country and try the various food and
hear a little about the cultures
Diversity & Social Inclusion Week


disability for a day


Committee Logo
 Logo - the current logo was vetoed due to the fact
that it seemed to focus on the cultural aspect of it,
rather than the entire concept of diversity and
inclusion
 Brainstorming on the logo
 The logo should represent MRS D& S inclusion as a
whole
 The logo could change on relation to which block or
theme we are currently focusing on depending on the
date.
 simply "MRS Diversity & Social Inclusion" as a logo in
itself
 Two sample logos will be designed by two committee
