Best Thought Trading and Projects (BTT Projects) in association with In-touch
Africa, supported by the Mpumalanga Provincial Government, Mbombela
Municipality and the South African Black Entrepreneurs Forum , will host the
Infrastructure Development Gala Dinner to unpack, discuss, deliberate and
educate businesspeople and entrepreneurs on the business opportunities and
challenges in Infrastructure Development in different sectors and industries with
few South African suppliers, as well as South African supplier development
initiatives by government and state owned agencies and upcoming projects .
The Infrastructure Development Gala Dinner will be held on
Thursday 13th November 2014 at Southern Sun, Emnotweni
Arena in Nelspruit / Mbombela with the Minister of
Economic Development and Chairperson of Presidential
Infrastructure
Coordinating
Commission
(PICC)
Secretarial, the honourable Mr. Ebrahim Patel, who will
unpack the drive for infrastructures in South Africa.
This Gala Dinner will focus on the Infrastructure Development in
different Sectors, where the Department of Economic
Development, Mpumalanga Government and Mpumalanga
Economic Growth Agency has committed key speakers to unpack
various opportunities in various sectors. The Gala Dinner will also
highlight areas where South African suppliers are scarce and
great expenditure and procurement by government is allocated.
The Infrastructure Development Gala Dinners are a unique series of discussions,
with informative and interactive presentations, based on an unconventional
approach which features a prestigious group of executive speakers in and around
different fields and sectors. The purposes of the Gala Dinners are to educate,
inspire and inform businesspeople, entrepreneurs and corporate from all levels
about current challenges and opportunities throughout South Africa. Experts from
various infrastructure development organizations, incubations and universities
focusing on infrastructure development are invited to share their findings and
opportunities for businesspeople, entrepreneurs and corporate in South Africa,
and make recommendations to government and its agencies on world class best
practice in developing infrastructures.
The Gala Dinner series will allow Delegates with the opportunity to:

BTT Projects has further partnered with Southern Sun, Emnotweni Arena in
Nelspruit / Mbombela as the official venue partner of this Gala Dinner series.

series to their guests who are visiting the there. The goal of Infrastructure
Development Gala Dinner is also to learn, share dialogue, advocate and network
with the nation’s experts, public policy leaders, private sector leaders and trade
associations and groups.

This Gala Dinner will be of special significance as they kick off with a new energy
from a new government that has been recently elected to create change in the
economic landscape of South Africa. Projects Development and the creation of
infrastructure is a key priority for government to create the much needed jobs
and skills development.

administration, government and SOE officials from procurement departments,
