Dear Potential Donor,
The Healing Hearts Center is proud to extend to you an invitation to be a sponsor of the
4th Annual Gala and Auction Dinner, “Facing the Giants, Ending the Silence.” This event is
scheduled for 6:00 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church 505 W
Marvin, Waxahachie, TX 75165. We are raising awareness and much needed funds for our
emergency shelter and outreach facility.
As we are honoring the Executive Director of North Ellis County Outreach, Denise Butler, as
Community Leader of the Year and Traci Unruh as Advocate of the Year.
We anticipate the Gala will include over one hundred corporate and local professionals. It will
be one of the most prestigious dinner events in Ellis County; this event is unique and expected
to sell out quickly! Both Ellis and Dallas County residents will be present.
We would be very grateful and honored to have your support as a sponsor. You will find
enclosed a sponsorship form and the levels of sponsorship available. Please fill it out and
return it to our office no later than March 30, 2015 to take advantage of our Gala publicity
campaign.
Healing Hearts Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax
deductible. We can accept contributions from your personal, corporate, or foundation account.

Vision Statement: We are the hand that compassionately empowers and
affectionately guides hurting individuals, and encourage them to live enriched,
purposeful lives in safety and security, serenity, expectancy, and experience
restoration and wholeness within their spirit, soul, and body.
Purpose: The purpose of Healing Hearts Center is to end domestic violence in Ellis
County and surrounding areas.
Mission Statement: The mission is to end the occurrence of domestic violence
and sexual assault by providing emergency housing, crisis intervention to
domestic violence survivors and their families, and to provide prevention
education.
Focus: Healing Hearts Center assists with restoring survivors to become spiritually
liberated, emotionally whole, and financially self-sufficient through providing safe
housing, empowering survivors, and equipping them with the resources that will
positively impact them and their families. The survivors begin to embrace a new
life in a trusting, and stable environment. Inevitably they will become more stable
financially, socially, and negative emotions will diminish such as fear, guilt,
embarrassment, and other negative emotions related to the assault. The women
and children will become more confident and secure; therefore, they will be able
to accomplish individual goals.
