2016 Fall Sales, Retail & Financial Services Career Fair
Hosted by the Department of Consumer Science in partnership with the School of Hospitality & Tourism Management
The CSR career fair is a great opportunity to recruit from all disciplines in attendance. This
year’s career fair will be hosted on February 9th.

Step 1: Register for the Career Fair
Register your company for the conference at following link: REGISTRATION or
cut and paste: https://purdue-csm.symplicity.com/events/CSRSP16 into your browser.

Step 2: Pay the Registration Fee
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation letter which includes information on the
payment process and additional conference details.

This event is an opportunity to develop a two-way partnership between your company and the
undergraduate programs in the Department of Consumer Science. Majors include Selling and
Sales Management, Retail Management, Financial Counseling and Planning, and Apparel Design
and Technology.
CSR is one of nine academic units in the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS). This
year, the career fair will be held in partnership with fellow HHS unit, Hospitality and Tourism
Management (HTM).
The Sales, Retail, & Financial Services Career fair will be held from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. on
Tuesday, February 9th, and is open to all interested students. For more information contact Sally

Travel & Directions
If you fly into the Indianapolis International Airport, shuttle service is available to West
Lafayette on the Lafayette Limo or Star of America.
Parking:
Visitor parking is available in the Grant Street Garage. You will need to take a parking ticket
to get into the garage. Each company will receive two parking passes when you register. These
passes will enable you to exit the parking garage as it covers the cost of your parking. If you are
staying in the Union Club Hotel in the PMU, your parking is included.
The Purdue Memorial Union (PMU) is located directly across Grant Street from the parking
garage. Take the stairs up to the main floor of the PMU.
Company registration is located to the right about midway down the hallway. (South Entrance
to the ballrooms.) You will pick up a name tag, parking pass (2/company), Boiler Express card
which can be used downstairs at the Starbucks or other Union food services located in the
basement of the union, and conference folder.
Interview schedules: For companies that will be interviewing on Wednesday, September 23rd,
you will also receive blank interview schedule sheets to fill during the career fair. Your
interview room location will be included on the sheet.
A student host will be available to assist you with your career fair booth set-up in the North
Ballroom.
