Idea Bank a double winner at the 2015 Efma Distribution & Marketing Innovation Awards
Efma Distribution & Marketing Awards recognize the world’s most innovative financial services of the year. In
its 2015 edition, Idea Bank’s revolutionary solutions for business were granted top awards in two different
categories - the Best Digital Distribution Innovation and the Most Disruptive Innovation.
European Financial Management Association (Efma) is a global not-for-profit organization of banking and
insurance professionals specialized in marketing and distribution of financial services. Bringing together more
than 3,300 financial brands from over 130 countries, it provides industry research, reports and studies, holds
international conferences, and – in cooperation with Accenture – organizes the prestigious Distribution &
Marketing Innovation Awards.
In this year’s edition of the competition Idea Bank has scooped not one, but two awards. Its one-of-a-kind
transactional platform combined with a business management system, Idea Cloud, won in the Best Digital
Distribution Innovation category. This innovative banking cloud enables entrepreneurs to administer accounting
and settlements, archive documents, and manage contacts, integrating all business processes in a single location.
Moreover, for its vast scope of expanded SME-targeted services, which include the above-mentioned
transactional platform along with Idea Hub co-working venues and the app-managed Mobile ATM fleet, Idea Bank
was granted the Most Disruptive Innovation award. Idea Hub was already acknowledged by Efma earlier this year,
when the organization recognized this innovative branch model as the March Innovation of the Month.
