Nicholson, Chief Operating Officer -- FHCF Date: September 20, 2013 Re: September 26, 2013 Meeting of the FHCF Advisory Council Attached is the Agenda for the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund Advisory Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. ET. We have scheduled the meeting as a conference call meeting, but anyone who wishes to attend in person is welcome to join us in the Hermitage Centre conference room. There is a call-in number listed on the Agenda. The primary purpose of the meeting will be to obtain the Advisory Council’s approval to file Rule 198.010, Reimbursement Contract, for notice and if no public hearing is requested, then to file the rule for adoption. We are holding a workshop on this rule on the morning of September 26 at 9:00 a.m. ET. We will bring to your attention any concerns raised as a result of the workshop. For the next contract year, we have made changes that we think will simplify insurer reporting and assist in the administration of the FHCF. The Reimbursement Contract must be adopted by February 1, 2013. As last year, this time frame necessitates our aggressive time table so we can allow for proper notice and to get the item on the SBA Trustees agenda. We will proceed with Rule19-8.029, Insurer Reporting Requirements (Data Call), and Rule 19-8.030, Insurer Responsibilities, in January. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. ET. The estimated claims paying capacity will be the main topic on that agenda.
