SENIOR EXOTICS VET VACANCY, MANOR VETS, BIRMINGHAM
We are looking for an experienced exotics vet with Zoo medicine certificate, MSc or
equivalent to join our five vet exotics team in a modern and constantly evolving practice.
There is an existing good exotics caseload comprising pet reptiles, birds and mammals and
zoo collections and support is provided by an RCVS Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine
and colleagues with certificates in small animal medicine, surgery and cardiology. In house
lab, exotics library, ultrasonography, rigid endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, and
purpose built exotics hospitalisation wards available with assistance from excellent nursing
staff with exotics qualifications. There is scope to pursue interests within the exotics field and
support would be provided for further qualifications. The practice is undergoing further
development to include construction of facilities for CT scanning and laser therapy
equipment.
The role would be based at our Edgbaston branch full time and would include some weekend
cover for our exotics clients. Salary is commensurate with experience.
