Post-doctoral position available We are looking for a self-motivated post-doctoral fellow to study the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, using molecular, biochemical, immunological, and proteomic approaches. This project is a cross-discipline translational research and involves both primary human and mouse immune cells. Applicants with experience in molecular biology, immunology, mouse models of human diseases, and handling of human samples are encouraged to apply. A candidate with a recently awarded PhD degree and a strong interest in T cells and/or innate immune cells are desirable. Experience in protein mass spectrometry is a plus. The ability to work independently at nights and weekends is required. The position is based in the Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy of Brigham and Women's Hospital, located in Boston, Massachusetts. The trainee will have access to all the resources of Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and will be exposed to an intellectually challenging environment and cuttingedge facilities. Salary will be in accordance with NIH post-doctoral pay scales.
