Mystery Story
You are responsible for writing a mystery story. This story should reflect
the mystery genre and should incorporate your mystery vocabulary (alibi,
detective, clues, etc.) The sky is the limit for the setting and plot of your story.
Think Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes (if you dare), think Scooby-Doo,
think Encyclopedia Brown or the Hardy Boys. Hopefully your stories will be
challenging to the reader and stump your classmates. Whatever route you
take, your story must include the following components:






Include direct or indirect references to your mystery vocabulary
Be 4-5 pages handwritten; 2-3 typed in 12 point font
Include a cover page with title, author, and illustration
Correct grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc.
Be entertaining and…mysterious…
Be turned in December 2 or before.
