Connectors
 This group is highly involved as the ‘welcoming arm’ of the Chamber, meeting monthly and volunteering at
events, ribbon cuttings, etc. for an annual commitment
Total Resource Campaign
 Active mid-January through mid-March – Volunteers work with members to make the most of their Chamber
membership
Advocacy Group
 The united voice of the Urbandale business community, annual commitment
Special Event Task Force
 Periodic involvement based on event date desired, short-term commitment (Sample Urbandale, Wild West Golf
Outing, Annual Dinner, Educator’s Appreciation, etc.)
Membership Focus Groups
 Quarterly meetings, one hour in duration, centered around membership topics
genYP
 Chamber’s Young Professionals - Periodic involvement based on events and activities, short-term commitment
(genYP membership required $25 per year)
 Let’s Read Program volunteer – as often as desired, read with kids in local grade school classrooms
