PART 1: GROUP WORK:
Locate the Cape Fear River Basin booklet. Answer the questions below about the basin.

PART 2: GROUP TEACHING 
1) Each person should choose one of the other 16 river basins in North Carolina and answer the questions below. (no repeats!)

2) Each group member will then teach the group about their river basin. You will answer all 6 questions for each group member’s basin on
the sheet provided by Ms. Williams.
3) Lastly, Each person will design a brochure or pamphlet about their river basin that includes answers to all 6 question from above. Be sure
to include at least 1 picture IN COLOR that represents the basin.
PART 3.NC River Basin Activity:
USE THE NC RIVER BASIN BOOKLET TO COMPLETE THE MAP BELOW. FIRST, LIST THE
REMAINING 16 BASINS. THEN PLACE THE NUMBER THAT MATCHES THE BASIN IN EACH BOX.
