Termly Competition for Schools WIN - termly prize draws Terms and Conditions A termly prize draw will be held each term from September 2015- July 2016 inclusive for schools in England that register, activate and add the date of their School Games Day into the www.yourschoolgames.com website on their school account for the academic year 2015-2016. To enter you must blog on your school page at www.yourschoolgames.com each term by the dates outlined below to be eligible for that term’s prize draw. Your entry will not be carried forward into subsequent prize draws. The opening and closing dates for each term are as follows: - For term 1: opens 1st September 2015; closes with the prize draw: 3rd December 2015 at 23:59:59 For term 2: opens 4th January 2016; closes with the prize draw :10th March 2016 at 23:59:59 For term 3: opens 14th March 2016; closes with the prize draw: 27th May 2016 at 23:59:59 Registered and activated schools that blog on their school page on www.yourschoolgames.com in the relevant term on the pre-determined theme will automatically be entered into the prize draw. The themes are as follows: For term 1: Why Competition? For term 2: Inclusion For term 3: Leadership No purchase necessary. The winners of each prize draw will be the schools picked at random by the Promoter each term. The termly draws will take place on the following dates: - For term 1: (200 schools to be picked at random) 29th January 2016 For term 2: (100 schools to be picked at random) 10th March 2016 For term 3: (50 schools to be picked at random) 13th June 2016 Each term the winning schools (number identified above) for that term’s prize draw will be notified by telephone within four days of the draw. If a winning school cannot be contacted by telephone it will be via email no later than each Friday of the week of the draw. If the Promoter cannot contact a winning school within 14 days of the prize draw (excluding school holidays), the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative eligible school to receive the prize. Termly Prizes: The prizes for each term are as follows: For term 1: For term 2: For term 3: 200 competition packs awarded to 200 schools (selected at random) who input the date of their Level 1 School Games Day and blog about the impact School Games has across their school 100 x prizes sourced from Youth Sport Direct, each to a value of up to £200 50 x competition packs, each pack up to the value of £200 Each term, each winning school will win one of the prizes available for that term’s prize draw. The prize awarded to each winning school will be selected at random by the Promoter from the prizes available. Athlete Visit: In addition to the termly prizes available above, following each term’s prize draw, two of the winning schools will also be selected at the sole discretion of the Youth Sport Trust’s Young Ambassador Steering Group, based on the quality of their school page at www.yourschoolgames.com. The selected schools will win a school visit from an Athlete Role Model (the Athlete Role Model to be determined at the sole discretion of the Promoter). The visit date shall be agreed between the Promoter and the winning school. In the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. By accepting the prize, you agree that your school may have to take part in reasonable publicity related to this prize draw and consent to, and are authorised to consent to, such participation. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. There is no cash alternative. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. By taking part in the promotion you are deemed to have accepted and be bound by these rules. The Promoter may withdraw or amend the prize draw at any time at its discretion. The name and county of the winning schools will be available for one month following the relevant termly prize draw by writing to School Games, Youth Sport Trust, SportPark, Loughborough University, 3 Oakwood Drive, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 3QF.
