The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting a Manager, Building Fabric Services - Maintenance Services - Asset Development and Maintenance Branch. Maintenance Services is the maintenance authority for Parliament House and is responsible for repairs and maintenance of the building structure, fabric, finishes, landscape and all engineering services such as air-conditioning, power, lighting, hydraulic services and movement systems. The Managers position is based within the Building Fabric Services section which is responsible for maintaining the building fabric and furniture within Parliament House. This includes both internal and external surfaces which comprise carpet, timber, concrete, stone, glazing, painted surfaces and furniture. The section provides the resources to carry out the planned and breakdown maintenance with a mix of in-house trade staff and external contractors. Currently, the salary range for this position is $80,020 - $89,937.
