Launch Four New Romance and Wedding Programmes
May 2015: Luxury hotel brand, Nira Hotels and Resorts treats travelling couples to
bespoke romantic experiences across the brand as they launch four new bespoke packages
this summer. With hospitality and service at the heart of this nomadic, bohemian-chic
hospitality brand, each experience is designed for the discerning travelling couple, seeking a
unique and authentic experience, be it a naughty weekend away, a mini break enjoying the
mountains or tying the knot with the sand between their toes. Each programme is
thoughtfully designed to ensure each couple’s stay is peppered with personal touches and
heartfelt service, allowing them to reconnect and build lasting memories.
Shanti Maurice:
Elopement Package
Located on the largely untouched south coast of Mauritius, Shanti Maurice is a haven of
luxury and ideal for couples eager to say “I do” without the fuss of a big wedding. The new
“Elopement Package” is designed for brides and grooms-to-be looking to escape the wedding
stress and focus on the magical moment alone together. From organising the ceremony, to
providing two witnesses, every aspect of the “big day” is taken care of by Shanti Maurice’s
dedicated staff.
With the soft notes of a local musical trio drifting across the beach, couples can say their
vows before being blessed by the matriarch of Shanti Maurice’s family, “Grandma” herself.
Following the ceremony, the newly weds will head to the resort’s colourful gardens to plant
a tree, symbolising the new marriage and their place in the Shanti Maurice family, before
stepping aboard a private catamaran for a sunset cruise and Champagne picnic. Back on dry
land, the romance continues as the bride and groom enjoy a private “Sega” show, the
Mauritian traditional wedding dance, before heading to the beach to release a “Love Wish
Lantern”, sealing their union. The following day, the newlyweds can relax into married life
with a couples massage at Shanti Maurice’s award winning spa.
Nira Caledonia:
Night of Nudity
For newly weds or adventurous couples seeking a risqué 24 hour experience, the luxury
Edinburgh city centre hotel, Nira Caledonia, has launched the “Night of Nudity” package with
all the ingredients for a kinky night away.
Designed to encourage couples to let their hair down and reconnect on all levels,
the Night of Nudity experience includes a memorable stay in an opulent Jacuzzi Suite,
with erotic bedside poem books, along with a variety of sensual bath oils to set the
mood. Couples will also be presented with a goody bag containing a selection of trinkets
including a Massage Me massage candle, sensual bath oil, and Totally His soft handcuffs.
To encourage relaxation, couples are treated to a joint in-room sensual aromatherapy
massage designed to awaken the senses. A bottle of Deutz Rose Champagne and chocolate
strawberries will be delivered to the suite to complete the setting. For those wanting a
personalised memento of their break, an artist’s easel and crayons for a sensual still life
drawing will be waiting.
Nira Alpina:
Full Moon Package
Putting fun before formality and pleasure before protocol, Nira Alpina in the upper Engadin
Valley, is perfect for fun loving and active couples in search of adventure. Their new “Full
Moon Package” offers a refreshing alternative to candlelit meals and rose petals. Instead, it
embraces the majestic qualities of the mountains, creating a unique and authentic
opportunity.
The adventure begins on the night of the full moon and ladies swap their high heels for
walking boots and men, their dinner jackets for thermals, setting off on a guided moonlight
hike up Mount Muottas Muragl. As the full moon rises from behind the towering peaks of
the Swiss Alps, couples enjoy a moonlit picnic, snuggled together with a bottle of wine and
blankets, enjoying the spectacular evening views of the Valley below.
On the second night, there’s no need to leave the hotel – or your room – as couples can
enjoy an intimate dining experience on their private balcony, with their own butler serving a
delectable three-course dinner. From 10pm the Nira Spa beckons, offering exclusive use of
the facilities including the pool, sauna and steam bath for a private Spa experience. As
midnight approaches a bottle of Champagne is served along with a delicious selection
of midnight canapés in the spa.
Nira Montana:
Montana Summer Couple Relax & Enjoy
Located in the picturesque town of La Thuile, at the foot of Mont Blanc, Nira Montana, the
newest addition to the Nira brand, celebrate their first summer season with the launch of
their “Montana Summer Couple Relax and Enjoy”. Designed to allow couples time to
recuperate and relax, the 3-night programme, incorporates Nira Spa treatments for “him
and her”. Ladies can look forward to a detoxifying “Body Strategist” and restorative “Fruity
Peel”, whilst pampering for men includes a cleansing Facial and deep tissue Sport Massage.
The following day, relaxed couples can head out to enjoy a romantic “Pic-Chic” picnic in the
beautiful unspoilt Italian Alps.

The Elopement Package includes a 3 night stay at Shanti Maurice in a luxury villa with pool, exchange of vows and
blessing from “Grandma”, two witnesses, a choice of violinist, guitarist or musical trio accompanying the ceremony,
private Sega show, Love Wish lantern, plant a tree in Shanti Maurice’s garden, 50 professionally captured photos,
videographer, private sunset catamaran cruise with Champagne picnic, 4 fruit flavoured Rum cupcakes, a Wedding Gift
from Shanti Maurice, bonfire on the beach and couples massage. Rates start from £5,622 per couple.
The Night of Nudity Package includes a 1 night stay at Nira Caledonia in a Jacuzzi Suite, erotic bedside poems, sensual
bath oils, massage candle, soft handcuffs, in-room aromatherapy massage, bottle of Deutz Rose Champagne, chocolate
strawberries, easel and crayons for still life drawing. Rates start from £400 per couple.
The Full Moon Package includes a 2-night stay at Nira Alpina, 90 minute guided full moon hike, candlelit picnic for 2,
private dining on balcony with private butler, private spa at night access between 10pm and 12am. Rates from £1,367
per couple
The Montana Summer Couple Relax and Enjoy includes a 3-night stay at Nira Montana on a half board basis, 4 spa
treatment for him and her at Nira Spa and 1 Pic-Chic picnic for 2. Rates from £978 per couple.
