COAT BANK - The Coat Bank needs a two person team (ideally including one
male) to run the Coat Bank on its Saturday openings. The team would be
present to answer questions and make sure things run smoothly. If you have
questions or are interested, please see Beth Brown or Carolyn Fabro.
SOUP KITCHEN – We’re helping at Christ Lutheran Church’s Soup Kitchen
on the third Saturday of every other month, starting September 20. We need
10-12 volunteers, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm, each scheduled day. The dates are
listed at the Sign Up Center. Sign up to let us know when you are able to

MANGER COLLECTIONS in September are non-perishable food and
household items (soap, toothpaste, detergent, etc.) for the Haslett Food
Pantry and a Haslett family in need.
OTHER ITEMS COLLECTED: can tabs (for Ronald McDonald House),
Campbell’s Soup labels (for Bethesda Lutheran Homes), eyeglasses (for
MOST Ministries), ink jet & laser cartridges (for Lansing City Rescue Mission).

ADULT BIBLE CLASSES begin TODAY at 9:45 am.

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING CLASSES begin on Wednesday, September 10
for students in grades 3 - 8. We’ll hold three sessions of classes throughout
the year. Our curriculum focuses on the doctrines of our Lutheran faith.

THURSDAY MEN’S BIBLE STUDY meets at 7:00 am at Coral Gables for
breakfast, fellowship and a study of Tertullian’s Apology.
THURSDAY WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY will resume on September 11 at 10:00
am in Room 205 with the topic "Jewels and Gems of the Minor Prophets."
