Redefining the way you experience sound.™ PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RBH SOUND REVEALS NEW LOOK, HIGHER PERFORMANCE SIGNATURE SV MODELS FOR 2015 Las Vegas, Nevada – CES 2015 – Suite 30-329, January 6, 2015 – RBH Sound, manufacturer of high performance audio products, debuted the company’s new Signature SV Series freestanding speaker lineup in their Venetian Hotel demonstration suite at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. According to the company, the new Signature SV Series was designed for both high performance home theater and critical stereo listening, and is slated to replace their Signature SX Series models later this year. The series sports a new design and proprietary technologies which, according to the company’s Sales and Marketing Director, Daren Egan, gives the series a good edge over the competition, both in performance and appearance. Encased in modern, swept-back cabinet designs with a choice of two high-gloss finishes, black and South American Rosewood, the new models also feature RBH’s proprietary, award-winning aluminum cone technology alongside high performance Vifa® silk dome and Aurum Cantus® AMT tweeters. The curved cabinets give the series its contemporary flair and are made from layered medium density fiberboard (MDF). The curvature and construction of the new models’ cabinets, combined with strategically-placed internal bracing, reduces standing waves and increases cabinet rigidity, providing more and tighter bass while also improving overall sound quality. To appease audio purists and make wiring connections easier, all models feature high quality, fiveway speaker wire binding posts, with larger models featuring two pairs of binding posts, allowing them to be bi-wired and/or bi-amplified. Models included in RBH Sound’s debut at CES were the SV-44, a dedicated di-polar/bi-polar surround speaker, the SV-61 bookshelf speaker, the SV-661 LCR and SV-661C dedicated center channel, the SV-831 monitor and two subwoofers, the SV-12 and SV-1212. The SV-12 incorporates an optional 500 Watt RMS class D amplifier for increased system flexibility, and the SV-1212 features an optional page 1 of 2 1,000 Watt RMS amplifier. Topping things off in the RBH suite was an active demonstration of a stereo pair of their new SV-6500 tower speakers. Introductory pricing for the new models has been set at $1,195/pair for the SV-44 dedicated surrounds, $1,195/pair of the SV-61 bookshelf’s, $895/each for both the SV-661 LCR and SV-661C dedicated center, $2,495/pair for the SV-6500 towers and $1,995/each for the SV-831 monitor. Subwoofer models introductory pricing has been set at $1,095/each for the powered SV-12 and $795 for the non-powered model, $2,995/each for the powered SV-1212 and $2,395 for the non-powered model. True to RBH fashion, most models in the new Signature SV Series are available with a Signature Reference upgrade. Reference upgrades include fixed phase plug aluminum cone midrange woofers, liquid-cooled Scanspeak® silk dome tweeters, and modified crossover networks to manage the upgraded drivers. The Signature Reference upgrade comes at a higher cost, promising increased power handling and improved clarity and overall performance. The new Signature SV series is expected to begin shipping later this year. Pre-orders for the new series will soon be taken via the company’s web site at http://rbhsound.com or through the company’s authorized dealer and international distributor network.
