Postgraduate Diploma/Masters Degree/ Bachelors Degree / Diploma related to - Food Science & Technology Or - Food & Nutrition Or - Agriculture Or - Agribusiness, offered by a recognized international institution 2. Minimum 5 years experience in the field, out of which a minimum 1 year in a corporate member organization/ formal government institute 3. Annual subscription paid in full Entrance fee Rs. 1,000/= 1. Basic level education (GCE O/L) 2. Minimum 10 years experience at a senior managerial level in a food processing business 3. Annual subscription paid in full Or 1. Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field 2. Minimum 1 year experience in the food industry 3. Annual subscription paid in full Or 1. Graduated in a relevant field 2. Minimum 2 years experience in the food industry 3. Annual subscription paid in full Or 1. Diploma in a relevant field 2. Minimum 3 years experience in the food industry 3. Annual subscription paid in full Entrance fee Rs. 1,000/= 1. Any legally registered company or formal government institute engaged in the food processing industry for over 3 years with minimum facilities along with quality certifications2 2. Employing a minimum of 1 Fellow Member of the Institute 3. Annual subscription paid in full Entrance fee Rs. 5,000/= Annual subscription Rs. 2,500/= Annual subscription Rs. 2,500/= Annual subscription Rs. 15,000/= 1 Payable within six (6) weeks of the end of the calendar year. A Director / Manager of a company engaged in food processing Or A sole proprietorship, a partnership or a food industry incorporated in Sri Lanka 2. Annual subscription paid in full Individuals Entrance fee Rs. 1,000/= Annual subscription Rs. 2,000/= 1. Engaged in studies for a Postgraduate Diploma/ Masters Degree/ Bachelors Degree/ Diploma related to Food Science & Technology or Food Science & Nutrition 2. Industrial experience not required 3. Entrance fee paid in full Entrance fee Rs. 1,000/= No Annual subscription5 Annual subscription Rs. 10,000/= Corporate Entrance fee Rs. 5,000/= Annual subscription Rs. 5,000/= 3 Interim Members shall within 3 years upgrade their membership category to a member in order to continue with the membership of the Institute 4 Membership of Student Members would hold only for which the members are officially expected to complete their studies. Student Members will not be eligible to vote at General Meetings. 5 Fulltime students of undergraduate level or below are exempted from annual membership fee for the normal duration of their study period. 2
