A percentage of sales is donated to the NPTO.
Great Gatherings Kick-Off Party — November 7
Great Gatherings have become the NPTO’s major fundraiser. These gatherings are
parties or get-togethers hosted by Nova community members. Your first
opportunity to sign up for the gatherings is the big adult-only Kick-Off party. 100%
of the proceeds from the parties or gatherings come to the NPTO to help fulfill our
mission to support Nova.
Carnival — May 14
The Annual All-School Carnival is our big social event of the spring; a fabulous event
that brings our whole community together to have fun!
Usborne BookFair — May 14
This bookfair is held in conjunction with the Annual All-School Carnival and a
percentage of books are donated to Nova teachers.

SCRIP—Purchase gift cards from hundreds of retailers and a percentage is donated

What you can do:
 Check out the NPTO website: Our website is updated regularly with current
events. Choose to be a Room Parent or part of the Baking Brigade, Conference
Meals, Parent Ed Night Committees, and explore many more opportunities.
 Do Great Gatherings: Come to our Great Gathering Kick-Off Party on Nov. 7th.
You have the opportunity to host a party or sign-up to attend some gatherings!
 Bring the Family: We host fun events year round including Barnes & Noble
Book fair, a Roller Skating Party, and our Annual All-School Carnival!
 Consider our ongoing fundraisers and pick what works for you: Buy SCRIP
cards, purchase school supplies, labels, or other easy ways to support the school
with things you already need. Details can be found on our website.
 Attend an NPTO Meeting: Influence how we support our Nova community.
Attendance at meetings counts as volunteer hours.

The NPTO is you. Parents, guardians,
grandparents, teachers, and staff.
All of Nova’s families are considered members
and are welcome to attend meetings and
volunteer. There are no member dues.
We need your talent, energy, and passion
to make our organization a success.
