Come to all or some of the dates! Entries are limited so first
come, first served.
How it will work?
The league will work on an individual basis, so once you have entered you will
be put into a section of appropriate gradings (this section may not remain the
same for all three dates). This will allow a player to build up their goal
difference, best number, best horse and star play awards over the three dates;
leaving us with our ‘Most Valuable Player’.
The results will be added up and published after each of the league dates along
with the leader board, showing how all players are performing.
There will be a number of prizes up for grabs over the three dates,
accumulating with the final date on the 13th of December, which will host the
final prize giving.

Dallas Burston Polo Club, Stoneythorpe Estate, Southam,
Warwickshire, CV47 2DL
Please note: The postcode will take you to an Industrial Estate around
400m from the entrance. Please look for the Great British flags flying
and a white electric gate, with the Dallas Burston signage.
The event will take place on the 60 x 160 m outdoor arena.

SCHEDULING (TBC)
Play runs 9am till 5pm (subject to change). The order of play will be
circulated in the lead up to event, all player and umpire briefing will be
done before each game starts.
UKPA MEMBERSHIP
It is a requirement that ALL Players are full playing members of the UKPA
prior to arriving on site; this includes members playing from the Pony
Club.

RESTRICTED ENTRY
Entry to this tournament will be restricted and will be taken on a first
come first served basis. No entry will be treated as received until the
appropriate entry fee is paid.
FIRST AID
A Paramedic will be on site during play. Closest hospital A&E; Lakin Road,

VETS
A vet will be on call for tournaments
HORSE WELFARE
Any horse that a player wishes to withdraw must be inspected by the
Horse Welfare Officer prior to substitution. Failure to comply will
render the Player in breach of the tournament rules and may lead to
disqualification of the player from the competition.
FACILITIES and
CATERING
Facilities include port-a-loos and horse-wash down area.
CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation of the tournament for whatever reason, the
organisers reserve the right to retain such proportion of the entry fees
as necessary to cover any expenses reasonably incurred. Any player
who cancels after the Wed prior to the tournament may not have their
entry fee refunded.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The organisers of the event have taken reasonable precautions to
ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures
to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and
prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions and all
officials and stewards.
Hot drinks and some snacks will be available to purchase.
AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED – suitable footwear must be worn [no
trainers or wellies] and UKPA tagged helmets, with chin straps fastened.
Any person mounted on a horse shall wear an approved, UKPA tagged,
helmet at all times. All playing/umpiring horses to be correctly ‘dressed’
as per UKPA rules. Please drive vehicles with care and consideration on
site.

Horse riding activities may be dangerous for the rider, officials, spectators and the general
public, causing injury or damage to persons, animals and property.
All persons taking part in, or as spectators of, UKPA activities do so at their own risk.
The UKPA, its Officers and agents accept no liability for loss, damage or injury to persons,
animals or property other than that required by Government legislation.
All persons inviting family members or others on to the site are required to ensure these
persons are made aware of this liability exclusion
