All poster presentations will need to be mounted on a tri-fold foam board. Presenters are asked to be at their assigned poster board during the entire length of the poster session. If your submission is accepted for presentation in a poster session, follow instructions available at http://www.apa.org/convention/poster-instructions.pdf Panel discussion: A focused session in which multiple participants present their views on a common theme, issue or question. The views may or may not be adversarial and may or may not be supported by brief mention of relevant data. The format usually consists of an introduction to the topic by a facilitator to provide the audience with a background for the ensuing discussion. Participants then present their viewpoints, followed by interchange among participants and between the audience and participants. Often the panel will end with an overview of the proceedings by the facilitator. Most important, a panel is not a paper-reading session. Participants should prepare presentations in advance so the facilitator can prepare a coherent summary. The facilitator should not give a separate presentation. Their role is to integrate, interpret and highlight the essential issues raised by participants. Clinical demonstration: Demonstration of a particular therapeutic style or technique providing an opportunity to observe its application through direct observation. 2015 Practitioner-Scholar Conference Proposal Submission Form Primary Presenter: Name: _________________________________________________________________ Email Address: __________________________________________________________ Phone Number: _________________________________________________________ Highest Degree: _________________________________________________________ Organization/Institution: _________________________________________________ Title: __________________________________________________________________ Area of Study: __________________________________________________________ Co-presenter: Name: _________________________________________________________________ Email Address: __________________________________________________________ Phone Number: _________________________________________________________ Highest Degree: _________________________________________________________ Organization/Institution: _________________________________________________ Title: __________________________________________________________________ Area of Study: __________________________________________________________ Title of Presentation: _____________________________________________________________________________ Program Format: ___ Poster Session ___ Panel Discussion ___ Clinical Demonstration ___ Paper Presentation 3-5 Learning Objectives: (Please follow instructions at http://www.apa.org/ed/sponsor/about/faq/objectives.pdf) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 3-4 References from reputable sources (i.e. Peer Reviewed Journal Articles): 1. 2. 3. 4.
