BA – MA Admission Application to the Master of Arts in
Psychology (Emphasis in Clinical Skills)
(For Washburn University Students ONLY)
This application is intended solely for Washburn University undergraduate students who are
seeking acceptance into the Master of Arts in Psychology (Emphasis in Clinical Skills) program.
The application must be completed in full. Incomplete applications as well as applications that
contain inaccurate information will not be considered. The information requested below will be
used by our faculty when making admission decisions. It is designed to facilitate efficient
communication of information, which we feel may be relevant in making admission decisions.

Completion and presentation of a research project as part of the PY Major Capstone as
demonstrated through the completion of PY390 (Directed Research) is required.

will still be considered for acceptance.

FACULTY RECOMMENDATION REQUIREMENTS
Unambiguous approval of at least three (3) full-time Washburn University Psychology
faculty is required for acceptance into the graduate program. Each of the faculty members
listed below must be willing to either “recommend” or “highly recommend” you for the
graduate program. You must obtain the endorsement of the 3 faculty members (listed
below) prior to submitting this application. Provide the names of the 3 full-time
Washburn University Psychology faculty.

GRE EXAM
Individuals applying to the Master of Arts in Psychology (Emphasis in Clinical Skills)
program via the BA – MA program are not required to take the GRE exam (either the
General or Subject test). Therefore, GRE scores do not need to be included with your
application.
