Baltā „Hope cup” 6th stage for Youth and Boys
Latvian Junior championships in Criterium
I Goals and objectives:
1. Improve MSĢ cycling department’s cyclist skills;
2. Establish contacts with foreign national teams;
3. Popularize cycling
4. Involve kids into sports related activities
II Place and time
Race is organized at 01.08.2015 in Ragana, next to Krimuldas vidusskola (school)
Day of arrival: 31.07.2015. License control: 01.08.2015. 9.30-10.20
Team manager’s meeting. 10:30 (after license control).
III Participants
Boys, Youth and Junior riders take place in competition as well as Elite men and women in OPEN race.
Public race for men and women with MTB bicycles. Kids competitions for riders born 2001 and younger
without license and with MTB bike
Juniors born 1997.-1998.g., Youth born 1999.-2000.g. Boys born 2001.-2003.g
IV Race organization
Race is organized by Murjani Sport gymnasium (MSĢ) together with Latvian cycling federation (LRF)
and Union “Murjanu sporta klubs “Barons”” (MSK Barons), Latvian cycling federation provides referees.
Security is provided by volunteers.

Boys 8 lap x 2,1 km = 16.8 km
Youth 14 lap x 2,1 km = 29,4 km
Junior 20 lap x 2,1 km = 42 km
Elite OPEN 19 lap x 2,1 km = 39.9 km
Public race 6 lap x 2,1 km = 12.6 km

Children race (without license) – 2001.-2002.g. 3 lap;, 2003.-2004.g. 2 lap; 2005.g. and younger –1 lap.
Children race will take place in school’s stadium
Track and distance for Criterium is subject for change
VI Classification
Classification is done by counting points in every lap – 1 point for winner, every second lap(1st place – 5
points, 2nd place – 3 points, 3rd place – 2 points, 4th place – 1 point), last finish have no double points.
VII General questions
Latvian cycling federation organizes work of referees. Medical assistance is paid by Krimulda city
council.
MSĢ organizes start/finish place arrangement, competitions, award of winners and provide referees with
accommodation.
There is no participation fee for children’s race.
Allowed gears:
A group (Juniors) – 52/14 or 7,93m
B group (Youth) – 52/16 or 7,01m (46/14 allowed)
C group (Boys) – 42/14 or 6.40m
