agree that the Stud Owner receives first pick of the entire litter. In the event of a litter over

The Stud Fee is Non Refundable
If pregnancy does not occur the Bitch’s Owner (hereafter known as the
Breeder) is entitled to a second attempt to breed during her following heat cycle.
The Breeder is entitled to a second attempt only if the Stud Owner is notified, in
writing, by a licensed veterinarian, within 6 weeks of being bred, that the bitch
did not conceive. ). If pregnancy does not occur during the second attempt this
contract will be terminated and the Stud Dogs Owner shall have no further
obligations.
The bitch must be in good health and up to date on her shots (rabies,
distemper, parvo and bordetella) and the record must be provided at or before
dropping her off for breeding.
The Breeder agrees that all pups from this breeding will be well cared for
and health certified as pursuant to Florida Law and also agrees that all cost for
veterinary and daily care of the litter is the Breeders sole responsibility. Further, it
is agreed that the pups will not be sold to a wholesaler or broker, to pet shops,
guard or attack business (unless the Stud Dogs Owner has met with and approved
sales to a legitimate security or government dog training program), puppy mills
and or anyone with said activities.
The Breeder agrees to require that that all pups sold as pets will be given
limited registration and or be required to spay or neuter their pet within one year
of sale so as not to promote further breeding of pet quality dogs and unknowingly
promote backyard breeding and sales to puppy mills.
The Breeder will provide a copy of the Bitches pedigree (at least 3
generations) before breeding is to occur.

The Breeder warrants that the bitch was not exposed to any other stud dog
within the heat cycle occurring at the time she will be bred with our stud, and that
the bitch will not be exposed to any other stud after being bred to ours during the
same cycle.
The Breeder agrees to leave their bitch in our care for, at minimum, two (2)
days and at maximum, four (4) days (unless otherwise decided and waived). If the
bitch is not picked up on the chosen date a charge of no less than $_______ per
night will be due upon pickup. All transportation costs of the bitch are to be paid
by the Breeder.

Breeding consists of, at minimum, two (2) “ties”. Even under the best of
circumstances the dogs in question may not perform. If this occurs the Breeder is
entitled to another breeding during the bitches next occurring heat cycle at their
own expense (transportation and veterinary care). If the either dog chooses not
to perform at that time this contract will be terminated and the Stud Dogs Owner
shall have no further obligations.
The Bitch cannot be sold while pregnant. If this occurs the Breeder will pay
the Stud Dogs Owner $________ for each pup agreed upon as the stud fee.
If POL is chosen as all or part of the stud fee the Breeder agrees that full
registration rights will be given to the pup(s).
If POL is chosen as all or part of the stud fee the pup(s) must be delivered to
the Stud Dogs Owner at the Breeders expense (unless otherwise decided and
waived) with the pup(s) full registration application(s) and health certificate(s)
when the pup(s) reach eight (8) weeks of age. If not delivered within 9 weeks of
age the Breeder agrees that they will then pay the Stud Dogs Owner @________
per pup owed.

No litter application will be signed by the Stud Dogs Owner until the stud
fee is paid in full. (Cash or POL)
If the POL pup(s) dies while in the care of the Breeder another pup may be
selected in its place. If one is not available a fee of $ ________ per pup(s) will be
paid to the Stud Dogs Owner unless otherwise specified in writing. The Breeder
will guarantee the POL pup(s) for one year against congenital health defects and
sudden death and will replace the pup(s) or pay a fee of $ ________ if such
occurs.
No puppies may be sold from the litter in question until the POL pup(s) are
chosen by the Stud Dogs Owner. The Stud Dogs Owner agrees to make our
choice(s) from the litter within two weeks of birth.
The Stud Dogs Owner reserves the right to visit the litter at any time with
notice. Pictures are to be provided of the litter and bitch via text or email when
requested.
The Stud Dogs Owner agrees that reasonable care will be given to the bitch
while she is in our care. We agree to keep her separate from any other male dog
on the property that could impregnate her while with us. The Breeder agrees to
release Gator Danes, Jennifer Watson and Thomas Dupree, from any and all
liability for the death, accident to or sickness of the bitch while under our care.
Should the bitch require veterinary care while in the care of Gator Danes and we
are unable to contact her owner, we will, at our discretion, obtain the required
care. The Breeder agrees to pay for any and all expenses incurred at the time the
bitch is returned to the owner.
A litter constitutes two puppies or more. If only one pup is born the
Breeder will be entitled to another breeding attempt during the bitches next
occurring heat cycle. The Stud Dogs Owner will have the choice between a pup

from the first breeding or pick from the second breeding. If the bitch does not
conceive during the second breeding attempted this contract will be terminated
and the Stud Dogs Owner shall have no further obligations.
Both parties recognize Levy County, FL as the jurisdiction in which this contract was created.
As such, should any disputes arise which cannot be amicably resolved between the two parties, the
Breeder agrees that any court proceedings will take place in Levy County, FL. The Breeder is
responsible for any and all court fees and costs assessed during the resolution of any dispute, and
further acknowledges that they will pay for any and all of Gator Danes, Jennifer Watson’s and Thomas
Dupree’s lost wages due to court proceedings.

Welcome to our Great Dane Family
We are so happy that you chose one of our pups to be your new
companion! We foresee many happy years of Dane craziness in your future. Get
used to drawing attention everywhere you go, hearing quaint sayings such as “Do
you ride that thing to work?” “Where’s its saddle?” “Is that a Dalmatian?” (For all
of you harlequin people).
We love our pups, and would like to stay connected to them through as
much of their lives as possible. Feel free to join our page on Facebook, Gator
Danes, and post pictures of how your pups are doing. We will always be here for
any support or advise you may need. We put together Dane Dates for owners
who want to meet other Great Danes and the insane people who can’t live
without them. It’s a lot of fun.

babies when we get the chance  (We are proud grandparents!) We’d appreciate
