Edward Eagle probably born about 1775. He came to what is now
Clay County WV about 1800. He married Malinda Foster. Malinda, a
daughter of Isaac and Sarah (Hughes) Foster, was born March 5, 1780
and died before November 1814.
Edward died about 1804 and Malinda married George Fitzwater
September 11, 1804.

May 25, 1894.

at Eagle Bend, in what is now Clay County, WV August 26, 1856. He
married Catherine Mahala Wilson May 6, 1880. Mahala, a daughter of
Washington and Louisa (Butler) Wilson, was born in Texas Territory March
14, 1859 and came to Clay County in 1864. Mahala died December 19, 1938
and Enoch died June 4, 1945.
They are listed in the 1900 Clay County WV census. They had been married 20
years. Mahala was the mother of 10 children, with 8 living.
