TDEM Geophysicist Abitibi Geophysics is seeking an experienced geophysicist with a specialization in electromagnetics or induced polarization to guide our innovation projects and geophysical services. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of providing ground and borehole geophysical services to the mineral exploration industry and government clients. Qualified candidate will have: Post-graduate degree in geophysics or equivalent work experience. Experience with geophysical survey design, acquisition, processing and interpretation for mineral exploration (preferably using ground geophysical methods). An understanding of time-domain electromagnetic principles is essential. Demonstrated expertise using industry standard processing and interpretation software such as Geosoft, Maxwell, GeoTomo, UBC Geophysical Inversion, Matlab, etc. Strong communication and presentation skills with clients, suppliers and research teams. Collaborative leadership skills. Bilingualism preferred but not essential. Preferably will be Val-d’Or based but not essential.
