Our Nutcracker show is quickly becoming a holiday tradition for many to attend! We
will be performing two separate shows to accommodate all that wish to see it and keep
each show a short length. Our date had to be scheduled very late this year, so we
decided on early- afternoon times for those leaving town or having parties that night. We
hope everyone can make time to participate. Please check the schedule below to see in
WHICH show your class will perform.
All students are invited to participate and there is NO show fee. Costumes are provided
for the Nutcracker ballet and some of the other classes. You might be asked to have a
Christmas shirt or turtleneck. Your instructor will send notes home about your
performance and what you should wear. All of the expenses of the show are paid for with
ticket sales. Please encourage family and friends to attend!
TICKETS: $6.00 general admission, advanced sales, age 4 & under FREE
$7.00 at the door (if available)
Tickets will go on sale MONDAY, NOVMEBER 16

We can arrange photo ops with “Sugarplum Fairy” or backstage tours – Please ask!
Some things we do differently from the spring showcase to try to keep
it simple and affordable. Please NOTE:





No show fee
No costume purchase
No rehearsal at the school
No reserved seats
No complimentary tickets
PLEASE NOTE: Students ARE required to stay backstage during the entire show. There will
be a finale that they participate in. Please do not ask for an early dismissal.
JUMPING JACKS: Our three year olds are so small, they often get scared backstage. We make
special exceptions to accommodate our littlest dancers!. We will have you bring them to the
cafeteria just 15 minutes before show time. They will be the first to dance. You will then come to
the stage to get them and they can sit in the audience with you for the remainder of the show. (Be
sure to get them a free ticket). If they want to come up on stage for the finale, they can join our
line! We do hope you will stay for the remainder of the show. They love to watch it!

If you are UNABLE to perform in this show, PLEASE, let your instructor know as soon as
possible. Otherwise, we will be choreographing for ALL those in class.
Backstage Help: If you would like to volunteer to help in the cafeteria with the students, please let
us know in the office. If you would like to watch the show, you can also donate your “babysitter”!
There is NO Rehearsal at the school for this show! Only ballet classes are scheduled for extra
rehearsals.
* Please NOTE: Elementary Dance 1 & Elementary Dance 2/3 will each only do ONE show,
therefore we have alternated every other rehearsal day for them. All other ballet classes will
perform in BOTH shows.
BALLET REHEARSALS: All Rehearsals 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the studio
