I will be observing at Marvin Ridge on 10/22 during the following time blocks:
Round 1 (9:15)
Round 2 (11:15)
Round 3 (1:15)
Round 4 (3:15)
Congress – you may enter and exit Congress between speakers.
Session 1 (9:30-12:30) Session 2 (1:30 -4:00)
I plan to observe the following events (you can only feasibly observer 1 event per round):

DUO

OO
STY
DEC
PFD
LD
EXT
*no observers in RADIO, IMPROMPTU, IDA
Rounds are approximately 45 min. to 1 hour in length. When observing, you should go to VARSITY
/OPEN rounds!!! CELL PHONES off during rounds. ASK the judge if you may observer, if he/she says no…
find another room. You may not TALK during rounds. If you need to exit during a round for any reason
you must WAIT until the speaker has finished. Take notes on what you saw/liked/thoughts, etc.
