Announcing the Celebrating the Genius of Women Art Competition Winners
Congratulations to the five finalists of the Celebrating the Genius of Women art competition.
Artist Phyllis Thomas won the People’s Choice Award for Qumran Eleven: Unearthed Evidence II (an
acrylic on paper piece).
The Best of Show Winner results were:

The art exhibition and competition was sponsored Women in the Arts, Inc., The West Orange Chamber
of Commerce Committee of 101, Leadership Alumni, Studio-T Photography and private donors. For

Please join us for a viewing of the Agape Photography Class exhibit featuring work from local Pine Hills
teens. These young artists and their instructor Victor Scott will answer questions about the artwork
and what motivates them as artists.

County Public Schools Art Educators present Art Spark. The exhibition represents art that activates,
stimulates and inspires the imagination. As art educators and artists, these individuals are passionate in
their quest to ignite a specific feeling or thought and to exalt confidence in our next generation of
artists. The teachers create the "art spark" in their classrooms and in their studios. They are honored to
display this work which seeks to build quality character in their students’ creative minds.
