The Star Online,6/01/2011 Academy offers programmes to help cameramen PHOTOGRAPHERS who want to improve their skills can attend a programme preview at Alvin Leong Academy of Photography in Kuching this Saturday. The preview will provide an overview of the academy’s programmes, which are designed and taught by experienced professionals, as well as tips and pointers on basic photography. Preview participants will also get to meet the academy’s instructors and students to learn about their experiences. The academy currently offers three courses from fundamental to intermediate levels in collaboration with Open University Malaysia’s School of Lifelong Learning (OUM-SOLL). Leong: Preview will provide overview of the academy’s programmes. The courses are the OUM-SOLL career certificate in photography, executive diploma in photography and professional diploma in photography. Registration is now open for its February intake. Those who register for the executive diploma and professional diploma courses will receive a free Canon 60D camera with an EF 18-55mm lens. The programme preview will be held at the academy at Queen’s Court, Jalan Wan Alwi, in Kuching. It will start at 7pm and is limited to 20 people. Admission is free.
