Conditions of Tennis Program
Private and Semi-Private Lessons

Lessons are to be booked and paid in advance. Please ensure you communicate directly with a Sydney Uni Tennis Coach to
arrange your lesson.
Cancellation of Private and Semi-Lessons

If you cannot make your scheduled lesson times- as a courtesy to your coach, other clients and to avoid a cancellation feecancel your lesson with your coach or SUSF Staff 24 hours prior to your booking. (Extenuating circumstances will be taken
into consideration on a case by case basis.) Your coach will thank you for the advanced notice!
i. Cancellation Fee Breakdown:
ii. In consideration of the coach & other clients, full fee will apply for individuals who fail to appear for tennis
lesson or unnecessarily cancel within 24 hours.
Clients will be charged a cancellation fee of $35, if cancellation occurs within the 24 hour period due to illness, injury or other
personal incident. The fee covers fixed court & coaching costs that cannot be avoided for that lesson time .
Group Lessons

Group lesson payments are due before the start of lesson one. Payment due in full.
Lessons are non-refundable. Group lessons are non-transferable. Once payment is accepted the time and day of coaching
becomes fixed for the duration of the term.
Sydney Uni Tennis reserves the right to change the day and time of the class if there are not enough participants to sustain
the viability of the class.
NO credits will be forwarded onto the next coaching term due to pupil absences. All lessons to be made up in the current
coaching term, provided there are sufficient places in other groups.
Cancellation of Group Lessons

Full fee will apply for the full coaching term once the term has commenced. NO credits will be forwarded onto the next
coaching term.
Poor Weather Cancellations

In the event of poor weather, customers are requested to contact Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre to inquire if the
lesson will run as per normal or be cancelled.
Decisions regarding lesson cancellations are under the sole discretion of the tennis coach responsible for the lesson.
In the event of poor weather resulting in the cancellation of the lesson, a make up lesson will be added on to the coaching
term or another agreed scheduled time.
In the event that there are multiple cancellations of lessons due to poor weather, a bulk group lessons will be offered equal to
the total number of lessons cancelled. This group of lessons will fall within the current coaching term.
NO credits will be forwarded onto the next coaching term. All cancelled lessons due to poor weather must be made up in the
current coaching term.
If pupils do not attend make up lessons, payment will not be refunded nor followed on to the next coaching term.
In the event of poor weather resulting in the cancellation of the lesson once the lesson has commenced, full charge will apply.
Social Tennis

Payment due for Social in Advance. Payment can be made for a single session or four sessions.
Cancellation of position is Social must be made at least 24 hours prior to the start time or full fee will be charged.
Sydney Uni Tennis reserves the right to reduce or cancel Social if there are not sufficient numbers for the session.
If a session is cancelled, prior paid Social sessions will be forwarded onto the next week.
Competition Tennis Including Leagues & Hot Shots
20. Payment due in full when booking position for competition.
21. The tennis competition is non-refundable and non-transferable. Once payment is accepted the time and day of competition
becomes fixed.
22. The competition organizers reserve the right to cancel the competition if there are not enough numbers to sustain the viability
of the competition. Refund/credit to apply.
23. The price structure allows for 2 washouts (plus assoc fix costs) during the 10 week competition. In the event of 3 or more
matches being washed out, make up matched will be played on designated days and times.
24. Appropriate Tennis Attire is required by Centre Management.
