What is Spiritual Astrology? It’s the Use and Purpose of Lot (Part) of Spirit – Many of the Lots
were used as alternatives to the Ascendant as an indicator of the first house. In the Spirit chart, in
which the sign of the Lot of Spirit’s sign is the first house, there are no malefics. Everything is
interpreted as it would be if the individual had learned to deal with everything in their chart. It is a chart
of wholeness, consciousness, and spiritual growth.
Rob’s technique will help you understand your path to fulfillment in an entirely new way. Rob will
discuss the Spirit Charts of participants at the end of the afternoon.
Dr. Robert Hand began his work in astrology at the age of 17. His father pioneered in the study of
application of astronomical cycles to financial markets in the 1950's and
early 60's. As a result, Rob learned the basics of casting charts from his
father, Wilfred Hand, who successfully applied astrological techniques to
forecasting the stock market.
He is an honors graduate from Brandeis University in history, went for
graduate work in the History of Science at Princeton and received his Ph.D.
in Medieval History from the Catholic University of America in Washington,
D.C.
Rob began an astrology practice in 1972 and as success came, he became celebrated lecturer. He
continues to lecture in conferences, seminars and workshops worldwide. Also, in his early career, he
was known as the first practicing astrologer to write astrology programs for microcomputers, thus
founding Astro-Graphics Services in 1979, which later became Astrolabe, Inc.
In 1997 Dr. Hand established a formal archive, library and publishing company for continuing his
lifelong work in the history and science of astrology ... ARHAT. His Library now houses the original
texts and translations of over two dozen ancient and medieval astrologers. His books to date include:
Planets in Transit: Life Cycles for Living, Planets in Composite: Analyzing Human Relationships, Planets
in Youth: Patterns of Early Development, Essays on Astrology and Night and Day: Planetary Sect in
Astrology and other short works on traditional astrology……….Dr. Hand offers professional astrological
