You can do more than 4 activities if you would like to! Row 1 Row 2 Write all of the spelling words in alphabetical order. Write the spelling words and make word pyramids. Ex: b bi b i g Ask someone to give you a practice spelling test. Write all of the spelling words 3 times each using a different color for each word. Write all of the spelling words using blue for the consonants and red for the vowels. Write all of the spelling words. Next to each word write a word that rhymes with it. Write each spelling word vertically and horizontally. Ex: skip s k i p Write each spelling word in a creative way (bubble letters, block letters, cursive, etc). Write each spelling word. Next to it write how many consonants and vowels it has. Example: tall 3 consonants 1 vowel Write each spelling word. Next to it write the definition of that word. (you can exclude sight words if they don’t have a definition) Write the spelling words and number the letters to show how many there are in each word. Example: shake 12345 Row 3 Type the spelling words 3 times each and attach it to your homework packet. Use each spelling word in a complete sentence. (each sentence should have at least 7 words) Row 4 Choose 5 spelling words and use them to write a one paragraph story. It can be silly, scary, sad, informative, or exciting. You can even type it if you wish. Find each spelling word in magazines or newspapers. Create the words you can’t find by cutting out the letters. Write the spelling words and draw a picture to match each one.
