The Preface of CSCE
The Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of
Smart Cities unveiled by eight ministries in China in August, 2014
brought smart city development into the spotlight. In the Spirit of the
Opinions, the four Alliances jointly hosted the China Smart City
Innovation Conference was on November 7, 2014 when the important
consensus of co-hosting the China International Smart City Expo 2015
was reached, regarding the unclear recognition of smart city concept by
many local governments and companies, poor application of technologies
and deviations from the market-oriented promotion.
Exhibition areas and booths, forums and summits, dialogues and
exchanges, project-matching meetings, signing ceremonies and other
activities will be organized to show the latest applications of the Internet
and high technologies in smart cities, share the successful experiences in
building domestic and international smart cities, and facilitate the
communication between governments and enterprises so as to drive urban
smart growth in a market-oriented and pragmatic way.

requirements for the development of new urbanization, the alliance is set
up to promote the application of smart cities in decision-making
management, urban social governance, public service and information
benefiting the citizens by adopting the market mechanism.
China Smart City Construction Institute:
It is a production-study-research cooperation organization which is
founded to meet the need of innovation emerging in the process of

Through the traction of
market demands, gathering the advantages in enterprises, colleges and
research institutes and grafting with industrial capital, we can build a
technology innovation system and industrialization base and promote the
rapid and orderly industrial development of smart cities.
China Smart Cities Industry Alliance:
Approved by the ministry of industry alliance, the industry alliance is
a non-profit social group composed of enterprises engaged in smart cities
construction, universities, research institutes, industry association, and
organizations for standardization and inspection agencies. By integrating
resources, the alliance aims to blend the smart cities industry with the
various techniques and solutions to the new urbanization construction,
which
can
also
industrialization,
promotes
the
informatization,
synchronous
urbanization
development
and
of
agricultural
modernization in smart cities.
China Strategic Alliance of Smart City Industrial Technology
Innovation:
Under the guidance of ministry of science and technology, colleges,
research institutes and companies which are devoted to relevant
technology progress and product research in the field of smart cities

core basic technology and independent innovation, the alliance will

Media Publicity
The organizing committee will organize smart city media alliance,
including TV, broadcasting organizations, plane, network and other
domestic and foreign mainstream media reports on the fair, which will
attract further attention of the whole society to the construction of smart
city to expand the smart city international and domestic influence and
radiation force. Wisdom city media alliance will also publicize exhibitors,
promotion project and products before the show to attract the relevant
units and individuals to negotiate the contract.
According to the progress of preparations for the exhibition, promotional
activities will be divided into pre-publicity, preheating, show report and
