HN & A SENIOR PARISHIONERS CHRISTMAS PARTY
2nd January 2013, HN church hall. We appreciate this
time of year is busy for all families but really need
some help contacting the guests and especially
organising the transport. Although the party is open
to anyone over 65, the majority of those attending
tend to be in their 70s, 80s and 90s. We get offers of
help from many in their 60s & 70s. We are very
grateful for the help of these parishioners but
wouldn't it be great if we could allow them to relax
and let younger folk take over! The numbers are now
quite small and most of the drivers can be contacted
by email or text so it isn't a huge job when spread out.
Please contact Claire (clairemurphy@doctors.org.uk)
or Deb (debkmercer@yahoo.co.uk) if you can help out
in any way. Offers of transport: If you normally help
with transport please confirm that you are able to do
so this year. New volunteers also much appreciated!
Please note that parishioners from Assumption
community are warmly invited this year - if you
would like an invitation to the party, or know of a
parishioner who may like to attend, please contact the
HN Church Office (2678257) Last years guests will be
invited automatically.

YEAR OF FAITH-WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
FOR INDIVIDUALS
Invite a Friend to Mass. The Year of Faith is global in its
scope, focussing on a renewal of faith and evangelisation
for the whole Church, but real change occurs at the local
and individual level. A personal invitation can make all the
difference to someone who has drifted from the faith or
who feels alienated from the Church for some reason.
Everyone knows people like this, so everyone can extend
a loving welcome.
