After beginning his studies at Florida State University, Matt received his B.A. in History from Florida Gulf Coast University as part of the inaugural graduating class in 2001. A jury of both twelve men and women must truthfully deliberate the faith of this boy based solely on the given evidence. It is a careful exploration of the prejudice that was found in the American legal system both in 1954 when this story was initially conceived and that still resonates in recent cases more than 60 years later; today.
