LJUBLJANA
City walking tour past the major sights of the beautiful old part of Ljubljana and a funicular

Hands up, who still haven't visited Ljubljana? Surrounded by pretty bridges, cobbled streets,
athmospheric squares, bars and plenty of cafes, Ljubljana really is an ideal sightseeing
destination. In this cozy capital city you never know what's around the next corner. It might be
the ruins of the original Roman settlement or it could be a breathtakingly pretty Art Nouveau
building overlooking the Preseren Square. And let's not forget the »Ljubljana' crown« – the
Castle overlooking the city. No wonder Ljubljana was touted as the “new Prague” back in the
'90s.
