1 DAY ARRIVAL LJUBLJANA – BLED
Arrival to Ljubljana International Airport and transfer to Bled, also known as the Pearl of the Julian Alps.
Bled is the most popular destination in Slovenia due to its romantic scenery and access point for Triglav
National Park, which offers numerous outdoor adventure opportunities. The town features a little white
church on an island in the center of an emerald green mountain lake, with medieval Bled Castle perched
high above, amidst the Julian Alps. The traditional way to reach the lake's island is by a traditional wooden
»pletna« boat, which resembles a huge gondola. Embark pletna boat and ride to Bled Island, visit Church of
St. Mary and experience the opportunity of making one wish come true by ringing the bell in the church.
Proceed for visit of medieval Bled castle standing on a high cliff overlooking Bled Lake. Enjoy the
astonishing scenery of the Julian Alps and the lake below the castle. The guests can visit castle museum,
printing shop, wine cellar, herbal gallery and souvenir shop. Overnight in Bled.

Ride with traditional wooden “pletna” boat to Bled Island: 12,00 €

The rowers will typically wait to get ten people on the boat before departing. If the lake is frozen (Jan, Feb),
the ride is not possible. Duration: The entire trip takes 90 minutes, including 45 minutes of rowing and 45
minutes on the island.

2 DAY BLED – BOHINJ – MT VOGEL - BLED
Visit the International Wild Flower Festival in Bohinj. First join a
botanical excursion on the north shore of Bohinj Lake (3 - 4
hours, easy). Not many regions in the Alps can boast a more
diverse flora than the area of Bohinj. This relatively small area is
characterised by several altitudinal belts up to the highest peaks
reaching far above the forest line. Vast forests, fields, mountain
meadows and various wetlands – from the shore of Lake Bohinj
to the high moors... all this gives an attentive nature lover a
chance to experience unforgettable beauties and discoveries.
The richness of flora also invites butterflies and bees. Bohinj and
its surrounding areas are a wonderful place for watching
butterflies flying from blossom to blossom and for the apiculture,
which has a long tradition here.
After the excursion take a cable car railway to Vogel Mountain
where you have an opportunity to admire a wonderful panoramic
view onto Lake Bohinj and the surrounding Julian Alps. Back in
the valley visit of the Alpine dairy museum and return drive to
Bled. In the evening dinner at Jezeršek mansion, the centre of
Taste Slovenia culinary delights, where you will have chance to
make your own bread. Overnight in Bled.

3 DAY BLED – POSTOJNA – IDRIJA – LJUBLJANA
Enjoy a full day tour to Postojna cave and Idrija. Postojna cave is No. 1 tourist attraction in Slovenia. Take a
ride on a popular tourist cave train. At the last station we will meet a guide and join a walking tour of the
cave. Admire the sights of stalactites and stalagmites and see the ‘human fish’, the largest and most famous
cave animal in Postojna cave.
After lunch at local restaurant drive towards Idrija, the oldest mining town in Slovenia and European
Destination of Excellence 2011. Visit of Idrija Lace School, famous for its fine collection of bobbin lace. This
original Idrija handicraft makes a wonderful souvenir. In the Idrija mercury tourist mine, mine trolls conjure
up the fairy-tale world of the miners. In the afternoon drive towards Ljubljana.
In the evening enjoy dinner with folklore show at a restaurant in Ljubljana. Unforgettable show with live
music, singing & dancing. Experience genuine Slovenian hospitality, enjoy in excellent traditional food, and
delicious Slovenian wine. At the entrance you will be greeted in a traditional Slovenian way - by a folkdance
group in national costumes - and served "šklojce" (dried fruits). While dining on the specialties of traditional
cuisine you will be entertained by an enjoyable folklore program featuring dancing and folk music. The
music and dancing makes it hard to sit still, but don't worry, you will be able to join the dancers, learn the
famous polka dance, or participate in our amusing games. At the end the folklore group will give you a
carnation flower (one of the symbols of Slovenia) as a present. Overnight in Ljubljana.

After breakfast drive towards Croatia and its capital Zagreb. Combine classical Zagreb sightseeing with

has seen a remarkable boom in fashion design and genuine hand-made jewellery. This young fashion scene
is rather scattered throughout Zagreb (small boutiques in the side streets). Afterwards enjoy free time for

Easy hiking at Plitvice Lakes National Park, the most beautiful natural wonder in Croatia, also considered to
be one of the most beautiful natural sights in Europe. Plitvice lakes are renowned for their distinctive
colours, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colours change constantly depending on the
quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight. In addition to the numerous
waterfalls, a bevy of wildlife can be seen, including fish, frogs and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy train ride, boat ride and short walk around 16 turquoise lakes. Afternoon drive towards Zagreb for
